Well excuse me bro. I didn't mean to get that wrong.

This is why you can't have discussions with Pac Stans.

You were wrong anyway,if Pac wasn't hitting your heart in 96 you just weren't a fan:scust:...How can a man surviving an attempted murder, jail time on false rape charges, coming out to stunt on his haters, the prosecutors, and would be killers, not hitting your heart:mjcry:...Then on the next song he's rapping with almost certaintly that he will probably be murdered for talkin the shyt that he's talking but still gon say what he gotta say regardless:wow:,Songs like I Aint Mad Atcha,White Mans World,Hold Ya Head,Life Goes On,Only God Can Judge Me,Krazy,Blashemy is Pac not talking about nothing worth a damn, and songs that don't hit the heart:wtb:?

Get mad and downplay Pac for rapping about what HE was going through and how he was feeling in HIS life at the moment, even though he still took the time to give you more substance than some rappers entire careers brehs:mindblown:

Pac in 94 went for your heart and actually rapped about shyt that was worth a damn. Pac in 95 was a fukkin' buffoon running with the wrong nikkas and got caught up in some shyt he wasn't ready for.

Kendrick>>>>>>Pac
(track came out in '96 btw)

>>>>>>Any song Kendrick will ever make

All Kendirck will ever achieve is being a weak imitation of that "Pac soul"

Can't manufacture it.....damn, this song Popped up on the playlist:wow:, so I might as well make it apart of
this post

Damn, now this

All the same album, post '94:wow:

Whole album done in a week....real shyt just flowed out of him naturally...like a web out of a spider.

Kendrick'll do for this watered down era, tho:mjcry:

You hated that song too:comeon:?He's putting you there,he's painting the picture, giving you her mindset.....I think this is you looking for Pac again, looking for Brendas got a baby which is more cinematic from front to back:popcorn:.......theres more than one way to tell a story though....He wasn't as direct as Pac and his story didn't follow no trajectory and steadily lead up to a climax....but Kendrick did great giving you the visual, putting you there, following the theme of how Keisha was used on every level, and not protected by people who were supposed to do the right thing, from grown men,to police,to her mama:mjcry:...Nothing about this song feels like "amateur" poetry,or story telling.

I guess your going to say its his fault if people compare it to Brendas got a Baby, since he has Keisha listening to it in the song:pachaha:?Nah man, once again inspiration does not mean imitation....Im sure Brendas got A Baby was a inspiration for this song since he mentioned it in the song, but he told a story in his own way....I think its every bit as good as Brendas Got A Baby,Kendricks had a secondary level to it Pacs didn't....the reference to the back seat theme actually had meaning as the song went on,as well as the theme highlighting Keisha being abused by those who should be protect a 17 year old girl, and wraps it up in a nice bow with the last verse where you really see why Keisha was destined to be so hopeless:mjcry:...So his story follows a different trajectory, and has aspects Brendas Got a Baby doesn't,doesnt mean they not both great stories.

Unless of course you wanted Keishas Song to be Brendas Got a Baby,This is hiphop so its okay to compare, but its not okay to not like something because of the comparing:ufdup:...And I think that's what a lot of Kendrick haters seem to do.

I don't think he's that dope because I will never like a spoken word rapper more than a rapper with god given or learned emcee talents....But I like him as what he is and he shows flashes.

Matter of fact I just thought about what you said, talkin about Wale is better than Kendrick:mjlol:...Heeeelll nah bruh, and I'm not on the wale is wack train...But Wale in the same boat for as the poet/rapper thing as Kendrick...Difference is Kendricks knows which one is his strength, where as Wale tried to be a dope emcee with no extraordinary emcee talents in terms of lyricaly,flow,delivery,charisma....He would be better off realizing these weakness following Kendrick and trying to be moreso in that mold, utilzing his strengths as a poet, instead he thinks he can be Jay-Z:dahell:

nikka u serious?

You can't see the difference?

Clearly a fake brenda gotta baby song and its weak as fukk, story doesnt sound believable at all. A 17 yr old hooker listening to brenda gotta baby on the ho stroll in 2011,lmao

I hear Brenda's got a baby
Well, Brenda's barely got a brain
A damn shame
Tha girl can hardly spell her name
(That's not her problem, that's up to Brenda's family)
Well let me show ya how it affects the whole community
Now Brenda never really knew her moms
and her dad was a junky puttin death into his arm
It's sad, cause I bet Brenda doesn't even know
Just cause your in the ghetto doesn't mean ya can't grow
But oh, that's a thought, my own revelation
Do whatever it takes to resist the temptation
Brenda got herself a boyfriend
Her boyfriend was her cousin, now lets watch the joy end
She tried to hide her pregnancy, from her family
Who didn't really care to see, or give a damn if she
Went out and had a church of kids
As long as when tha check came they got first dibs
Now Brendas belly is gettin bigger
But no one seems ta notice any change in her figure
She's 12 years old and she's having a baby
In love with a molester who's sexing her crazy
And yet she thinks that he'll be with her forever
And dreams of a world with tha two of them are together, whatever
He left her and she had tha baby solo
She had it on the bathroom floor and didn't know so
She didn't know, what ta throw away and what to keep
She wrapped the baby up and threw him in the trash heep
I guess she thought she'd get away, wouldn't hear the cries
She didn't realize how much tha the little baby had her eyes
Now tha babys in the trash heep balling
Momma can't help her, but it hurts to hear her calling
Brenda wants ta run away, momma say, you makin' me lose pay
The social workers here everyday
Now Brenda's gotta make her own way
Can't go to her family, they won't let her stay
No money no babysitter, she couldn't keep a job
She tried ta sell crack, but end up getting robbed
So now what's next, there ain't nothin left ta sell
So she sees sex as a way of leavin hell
It's payin tha rent, so she really can't complain
Prostitute, found slain, and Brenda's her name, she's got a baby

Baaaaaaaaby

(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)

You ever heard of a ipod:dahell:?Brenda was molested in Brendas Got a Baby, taken advantage of by family, ended up turning to prostitution, you don't see why Keisha might love the song and relate?what better song in hiphop for someone like her to listen too?or is it that unbelievable Keisha, who is from California could have heard an iconic Pac song in whatever year it is:comeon:? the fact Keisha can relate to Brenda and loves the song, then ends up like Brenda, you don't think maybe was done intentionally to add more irony to the song:comeon:...You think he mentioned what song she was listening to for no reason whatsoever...But how can you appreciate the details when you wasting time, using those details to be mad at the song:mjcry:?.

And yes I see the difference,i pointed out the differences as a matter of fact....Sounds like you refuse to see they are different, but realize that you can like them both as different as they are....you proving my point, you don't like Keishas song because its not Brenda, which is not a valid criticism if its great storytelling in its own way:sas1:

Ive already pointed out the differences but you seem to want to ignore that fact, meanwhile you fail to acknowledge songs can be different but still be great....also you have failed to explain whats so fake about the story other than she's listening to a song you don't think she should be listening to in 2011 on the stroll:childplease:?Da hell you think prostitutes should be listening to on the stroll?hooker anthems that can get them hype to suck random dikks?you think hos make a hooker playlist to stand on the corner too:pachaha:?

And you cant use that "You just don't get it" shyt on me just cuz I used it on you,as I point out what you are missing.you didn't explain anything, just used a cute hashtag:francis:,in fairness I will say maybe your post got cut off a couple post ago and you didn't realize it...But I'm definitely winning this debate so far:sas1:
