Probably willwhat if mexico/dr/colombia etc. become more expensive to live in because boomers buy property and retire there before y'all
I never looked at it as just sitting on some beach everyday til you die. I look at retirement simply as not having to go to a 9-5 you hate just for bills. Once you retired you should have the time and freedom to do whatever tf you want. whether thats charity, another business, playing with your grandkids all day, whatever is up to youAnd to be honest, I don't ever want to do nothing all day.
will you still be paying a mortgage by then? fixed income folks getting wrecked by this high ass inflationSs and government pension
every country's different but youll find some decent medical care in a lot of countries outside US. basically any place that has a sizeable expat community. So long as you got the cash, you're good and the medical care ends up being MUCH cheaper a lot of times. If it's some complicated procedure that really can't be done there, that's why you keep your US passport for those emergenciesEverybody banking on retiring to a 3rd world nation during your golden years, that is a fine plan until you need medical care.
Probably not, going to wake up one day, might even drive to the beach to see the ocean more time, and them WAP clean up on Isle 5. Going to be a lot of that going around by then.
