I already have real estate in the city and in the country side. All 3 generate money without me there cause im renting and have a farm in another one cacao and lemons. My cuz has a distribution network and he is a solid business partner. Eating good downthere thinking of buying beach front property to do air b and B but that game is a lil rigged with the politicians and druglords. So that one would probably be just a vacation home. The farm is definitely my retirement spot for now. Specially now that Skylink is available in the whole country and i can get High speed internet in the mountains. :blessed: only 70 dollars a month after you buy the dish.

And again i started all of this after my first big check 25k I wasted on stupid shyt like designer clothes, jewerly, clubbing and a new whip. All in 3 months summer of 05 was a crazy one. But God bless my uncle who pulled me to the side and put me on game. He balling big balling downthere now got a hotel and everything generating good money.

Retirement is all on your expectation. And if you were dumb enough to lay seeds you couldn't afford. but living in any of the top 5 to 10 cities, it's almost impossible to be a middle class retiree. You have sell your house, and move out to the sticks, or rent in the cheapest option you have. But all that is relative to what you think retirement is. Know plenty of people who worked through their 80s until they couldn't anymore. That's what they chose.

I tell anyone that listens. Start exploring potential options outside the country. Visiting a few stable African countries, Latin American, or even Europe is sometimes cheaper than staying in the states.

I'm sure I'm going to get buried somewhere in Central America. I sure as hell am not planning to work past 65. Laid my game plan out when I turned 30 on how I'll make it happen.

Most of us probably aren't even thinking about retirement. But what's your plan when you're super :flabbynsick:

Honestly, I don't think I've ever planned on retirement. Too much of it is out of my hands. And to be honest, I don't ever want to do nothing all day.
The biggest thing for me is that my career should change to a different phase. Your 20's are the grunt hamster wheel work. Your 30's-40's are when you take things to the next level, become a leader and generate the bulk of your wealth. You 50s-60s should be all about mentorship/consulting, low-lift work that requires all the operational knowledge you've obtained over the previous 30+ years. And at 70+ you should be doing foundational stuff. Helping with fundraisers, doing minimal mentorship. Perhaps at 75-80, you can say fukk it.
But everyone I know that's totally retired ends up working again. And not for just financial reasons.

Also for the brehs thinking of investing in foreign countries the game is not as easy as is told. Its hard work. You can't just rely on people you know you got to be hands on. Im lucky i have family/friends that I can trust with their own money and interest. There are a lot of leeches in the way and also you got to learn to deal with temptations and vices and the law there too. There are many ways you could get screwed. I seen it happen myself to a few good people that got screwed over. Most of the time by not controlling themselves around pretty women either them or the person they left in charge.
