Smh, no he wasn't the best between 06-10 wtf are you talking about? :what:

LeBron was clearly better in 06 and 07. In 08 Chris Paul, Garnett and LeBron were better than him. And in 09 and 10 LeBron was clearly better.

If Bron was clearly better in 09 and 10 then he would have 3 chips along with with Kobe's 3 but he doesn't. Kobe's combination of Reg Season and Playoffs was better than Bron's. LoL at CP3 and KG.

This ain't who was the best fantasy player this who is the BEST player. A lot U cats have gotten the two confused over the past 10 or so yrs.

Really? So every year Kobe has not won a ring, he has not been the best player in the league. And you take away the first 3 rings, since he was not the best player on his team, then you have 2 rings.

So kobe has been the best player in the league 2 out of 14 seasons.

ERIC B was the brains of the operation, I suppose.

Dude. No one(who is respectable) uses an erp equation to determine greatness in sports. Stats are not the objective reflection of what happens on the court because stats can be manipulated and misleading. You gotta see how the games play out for yourself.

To answer your question about what makes Kobe better than Wade is actually quite simple.. EVERYTHING

Statistics are a much more objective reflection of what happens on the court than one person's eyes who only saw a fraction of the games that went into those statistics and has a clear bias for or against the players he is discussing.

You Kobestans regularly want to talk about Kobe's PPG average, his 81 point game, how many rings he has, etc but then dismiss statistics as being meaningless as a whole :snoop:

These people are stupid. Best player in the game = the year they won a ring.

Morons.

Rings are a team accomplishment. Was Paul Pierce or Garnett the best player in the NBA in 08 or Billups the best player in the NBA in 04? :leostare:

Kobe was easily the best player in the league in 06 and 07 and he was getting knocked out of the first round, because he was surrounded by trash.

Hey you, yeah you, you forget 5 straight 50 point games, along with that 81 points in one game. Them 2 are records that has yet to be broken.

how can any of you morons say Bron was better than anyone when _PRIOR_ to this year he always choked or quit when it mattered?

up until this post season he's never performed like a superstar should

kill that noise about him being better than anyone PRIOR to last year

Bron has it in 2010 too. :heh: @ Wade.

Bron was better than Kobe in 09 too, but barely.

Bron w/best record in the NBA, lost to an inferior team in the playoffs in 09...best players don't do that.

Bron w/best record in the NBA, quit in 2010 while being up 2-1...best players don't do that.

Dirk was a top 3 player in the regular season in 11 and was clearly the best player in the 11 playoffs. Therefore he was the best player overall in 11.

Bron was finally...clearly the best player in 12.

So clearly the problem isn't with statistics themselves. The problem is that the statistics don't prop Kobe up above his peers the way his stans would like so they want to discount and remove all statistics that will show that other players are on or above his level. Makes a lot of sense.
