how can any of you morons say Bron was better than anyone when _PRIOR_ to this year he always choked or quit when it mattered?

He had one of the all time great performances against the pistons in 2007.

He hit several game winners in the playoffs prior to this season.

The fukk are you barking about?

Bron w/best record in the NBA, lost to an inferior team in the playoffs in 09...best players don't do that.

Bron w/best record in the NBA, quit in 2010 while being up 2-1...best players don't do that.

Dirk was a top 3 player in the regular season in 11 and was clearly the best player in the 11 playoffs. Therefore he was the best player overall in 11.

Bron was finally...clearly the best player in 12.

Yet earlier in this thread.....

:what:He was the best player from 06-10. 08-10 it was no question he was the best with 2 chips and Finals apperance.

Kobe is actually underrated by the casual Kobe hater.

Best player each season since 2000: (Factoring in Reg Season & Playoffs)

00 - Shaq
01 - Shaq/AI
02 - Shaq
03 - Duncan
04 - KG
05 - Duncan
06 - Kobe/Bron
07 - Kobe/Bron
08 - Kobe
09 - Kobe
10 - Kobe
11 - Dirk
12 - Bron

:comeon:

Really? So every year Kobe has not won a ring, he has not been the best player in the league. And you take away the first 3 rings, since he was not the best player on his team, then you have 2 rings.

So kobe has been the best player in the league 2 out of 14 seasons.

ERIC B was the brains of the operation, I suppose.

But who was clearly better than Kobe in reg season and playoffs in 06-08?? Cases can be made for Bron/Wade maybe Duncan. Nash/Dirk can even be thrown in there since they won the reg season MVP.

I never used the word clearly for Kobe like a lot of U who have Bron as the best.

So, kobe failed miserably against the pissedons in 2004, shot airballs against the jazz, lost to the suns after being up 3-1, and has been knocked out in the second round despite having alot of talent around him the last two years.

But, you will selectively ignore his failures, and selectively ignore Bron's successes because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Go sit down for a while and carefully consider your choices in life.

:snoop:

Lebron averaged 38/9/9 vs the Magic in 09. His team was just too small for the Magic. It was a terrible match up. Z on Dwight, Delonte on Hedo etc.

Lebron was dropping 40 and they were still losing.

How in the world is that on Lebron? :what:

Lebron did quit in game 4, but he didn't quit in game 5 and 6. Dude's statline in game 6 was like 27/19/9. That's quitting to you? :what:

He just had no help.

Stop being a moron.

Him quitting in 10 doesn't show on the stat sheet, him losing in 09 doesn't show in the stat sheet. All that proves that stats are manipulative and when its all said and done it can NOT prove who was the best in their careers.

Kobe was CLEARLY the best player in 06 and 07. In 08 he was still the best, but that's when Lebron really started to catch up. In 09 Bron surpassed him.
