If you read all the David Chase quotes, and interviews, (and I agree there are conflicting statements) and his scene by scene breakdown, I think it is fairly clear he didn't mean to portray that Tony died that moment......I always thought about it the same way, as in, it was designed to show that way to be intentionally tense, but it wasn't Chase's intention that he die in the diner on the table. I always thought that was just too on the nose and over the top for the show. I always took the ending as things for the Sopranos will continue, but we aren't watching anymore. It all goes on, and it all stops, one way or another.

He pretty much confirmed later that it sas the end of US watching the sopranos. Tony had to forever watch his back, the song saying life goes on.

I kinda concur with this view now. Tony had the feds on his ass. They were the guy wit the usa hats. The members only guy was a ploy imo. Its tooooo obvious. It was left openended for a reason. One of the goat endings too.

Watching season 3..

Artie was actually treated decently by Tony given the circumstances..it was almost as if he admired Artie for being a straight shooter..

Just saw the episode where Adriana stops working for Artie and Artie goes ups to Chris and Tony eating dinner,and Artie is drunk popping off at the mouth. Chris being a made guy that could've been Artie's ass if he were any other guy.

Even with Artie damn near about to shoot Tony...Artie kinda stayed in his lane, and Tony and his crew seemed to give him respect given that they could shyt on Artie if they wish because of their Mafia status.

I dont know how I didnt pick up the crew knowing exactly how long Chris had relapsed in the last season after he died......

It may have occurred to me.... that he may have been high:francis::ehh:

He has been struggling way before that shyt:damn:



Tony been trying to coddle so long that Chris was using and his people were losing respect for Tony and Chris in general over his usage and away games.......Really thinks Chris would've killed Tony had they not crashed, he made it a point to wear the cleaver hat in the his last meeting with Tony and Phil the movie was old then and he knew how tony felt about it; plus the boy kept turning up the radio everytime tony talked, Tony was dead to him at this point


The whole season 6 i comical in regards to Tony and the Guys vs Chris........Chris aint give no fukks with his little comments or digs:pachaha:

I used to think this but we seen Chris smacked like when Paulie dissed him about his daughter, he didn't appear that high in the meeting with Phil:manny:
