Why ya expecting Tony to be a loyal, great guy. Dude is a evil selfish mob boss who kills ppl and steals. Tony is not a good person AT ALL. Matter of fact, 99% of the characters on tha whole show are awful beings. So I wasn’t disappointed or shocked how Tony did Chris in the end.
Chris should have died when he unloaded the clip on tony car after thinking Tony smashed Adrianna, tony would have murked him if not for tony b
Nahh breh, Tony loved Chris but Chris was too much of a fukk up at that point. Thats why Tony looks at the child seats in the back first, chris at that point needed to be put down before he fukked up any worse

Yup. Tony knew chris would end up crashing high with thw baby. He looked to the baby seat and there was a branch if im not mistaken which would have impaled the baby if it was there. Thats why tony killed chris. Put him out of his misery but it showed tony snapping. He never quite did that before on the show.

Whatever the case it was a wack way for Chris to go. It's not like Tony was a pillar of responsibility, he just happened to be the star of the show.

I think what tony and the audience saw was chris was dead inside. The loss of adrianna, back on drugs, fights wit the guys,wife he didnt love.
It was the beginning of tonys downfall. Ny finishes off the rest of his support and we all know ho it really ends.
I thought it was fitting that the one person to y was grooming to takeover that he loved like a son.. is the one he brutally kills
People need to understand Tony was done with Chris since the Adrianna incident; he was seriously about to murk Chris if not for Tony B saving him, Chris was going around making open threats, had Tony hide AJ back over his moms house as he saw the type of loose cannon Chris was
He didnt love Chris as a son, chrissy was simply a vessel that was family, Tony would have gave that same love and respect to anyone which was family like he stared to do with Tony B giving him the casino hustle and such;......How much did Tony love Chris, or Chris loved Tony; from the start Tony was trying to reel in Chris as he moved on his own course, even still as long as Tony been trying to court Chris and bring him to the upper realm if the thing as he was on his own agenda and out of pocket with his mouth, Tony still had Chris's replacement eying him down in bobby, pay attention

Naw Bobby kicking Tony ass solidified his decision....He then had him as acting underboss, while Paulie held the paper title; maybe Chris should of checked Tony like a man when he tried to fukk Adrianna, instead of unloading a clip in his car
I took it like that was just the shallow little extra motivation that Tony used to silence any sort of conscience he had.....
Do you remember how he was grandstanding the whole next episode about that? Going on about the baby seats.....
And he admits he felt no guilt, just relieved. He loved Chris, in the way Tony loves people, which isn't unconditional, add in the fact they are all killers.The love Tony had for him had long expired when he smothered him.
I find it funny that despite all the abuse Tony gave Bobby over the years, in the end Bobby got a better deal from Tony than Chris ever did. Not only was he given more responsibility and money making opportunities, but he was treated like Sil, actually part of the management structure. People forget that the only reason Tony moved Chris up in the ranks so quickly was to use him as a buffer/lightning rod for the feds. Tony was terrified of wiretaps so he wanted to give his orders only through Chris, because he thought their relationship would keep Chris loyal.
In that scene on the boat Tony hints to Bobby that he's going to replace Chris in that capacity and throws him a bone with the window replacement project. I'm guessing Bobby did so good with that Tony realized Bobby actually had value beyond being just a puppet boss. Toward the end of the season we see him, Tony and Sil cooking up some big white collar medicare fraud while Paulie and Chris are still stuck with 1950s rackets, fencing stolen power tools.

I honestly think tony kind of respected the whole Adriana thing, as did Adriana. he knew he shouldn't have been in the car with her on the late night like that. he even talks to Melfi about actively trying to avoid her cause he felt like it could go down.
Adriana tells the fed chic that she would also kill Chrissy if he had been in the car late with another woman.
but what really got at him was that thing with the real estate shorty. THATS what really had dude upset.
first off, lol @ him saying he had a black shorty, and her name being Keyeisha. side note: same name of the girl of one of the black hitters that Benny and that other kid end up killing when they decide not to hit carmine sr.
but that shyt is what really bothered tony. he also didn't think Chrissy was handsome [II] even though he stayed with bad chics. it just didn't comprehend to him, thats just the kind of hater tony was.
