I'm about 100% Ton' got shot in the head...this article breaks it all down basically frame by frame of the last scene. The only argument against all this evidence is "well we don't actually see it happen" (it's meant to be Tony's POV so you see black as one would after being shot in the head) or "who set it up?" (NY/paulie + patsy after Phil getting murdered in front of his family).

One of many great scenes in a classic series...

Sidenote: I saw Michael Imperioli walking down the street in New York City back in September, I gave him a pound said I love your work & kept it moving. Dude said thanks a lot bro and then looked at me shocked that I walked off without asking for a picture or autograph.

I wouldn't say it was a comedy at all. It had a lot of dark humor. Because these dudes were emotional psychopaths. And extremely petty. But this was definitely a drama.

These guys just made violent activity humorous. The show does have great dark humor though. I'll admit that. I just love how emotional these hardcore mobsters get. The littlest slight sets them off into a homicidal act or rage.

I’d consider it a drama first, with lots of humor in it.

The show always maintained its humor but gradually gets darker as the show goes on. The tone of the first season is lighter and more comedic.

Chris should have been schooling Adriana on what to say in case she's ever picked up by the feds. They played on her fear and ignorance.

She was a dumbass for covering up that foreign guy's murder though.

you would think she would’ve known better.

Dudes high up in the organization would get arrested all of the time and getting out on bail. On the flipside dudes would get “disappeared” all of the time, which was a clear sign what would happen for cooperating with the Feds.

Unstable junkie ass Chris already smacked her up for far less, so what would she expect would happen if she got found out.

Shouldn’t have been hard of her to tell the feds to fukk off regardless of what they “had” on her.

Still, she was a borderline emotional wreck even in normal times. A lot of bark but no bite at all and always cried over random bullshyt as was easy to manipulate.

Exactly, even Carmela knew what to do in case shyt hit the fan. Chris wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but one person you're supposed to school is your other half because they always go for what they think are the easy targets. They told her a bunch of bullshyt to scare her and she walked right into it.

It angers me how stupid Adriana was in handling the situation

she was a top 5 (or 10) bad bytch that show and could’ve dipped on Chris wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy early on.

shyt, when Massive Genius was trying to holla, she should’ve read the signs and linked with him. Bet she’d still be alive and Massive was balling on an entirely different level than anyone in organized crime. He had hittas on standby so not even Tony would risk getting lit up over Adriana.

In the very least, he would’ve signed one of her trash bands and seeded her up, but she would’ve been safe.
