im looking for a 144hz monitor as well. the one you posted it is the best one ive found. gonna pull the trigger within the next couple weeks

im reading its only 60hz with HDMI though ? but if you got a HDMI to DVI converter itll run 144hz or you gotta unlock some shyt

why cant shyt just be easy

its at my Frys right now I could go pick it up..

Isn't HDMI always limited to 60hz ? You need dvi to go above that

I never knew ive had my 2 22" monitors for a few years but its been time to ugprade

so if you got a HDMI to DVI converter, will it work with 144hz or will it still recognize the HDMI ?

Hdmi only outputs 60hz at 1080p. You need dvi d. An adapter wouldn't help

I rather be at 90 fps at 1080p than 50-60 at 1440p or whatever I would get.. I hate when my shyt drops below 60 and im looking at a 970 gtx (maybe not anymore after the 4 GB shyt) and im not sure itll push constant 60+ fps on 1440p on some games

Fair enough. Yeah, I don't think a 970 is gonna push 60+ on all games.

As a plus, all this negative criticism nvidia is getting for that 3.5 fiasco should bring the prices down on the 970

For me graphics are cool and all and its when its right but im not one to sacrifice performance for it. If i go below 60 fps i start working on settings right then n there

Why do you need to upgrade then? Is the shyt just too old or something? You can dual boot into windows with that shyt no problem.
