If you play at 1080p and just want 100 fps, most cards will get you that

its time to move on up to 240 fps though been on 144 hz monitors awhile now

Saw that Asus had the Z890 Extreme available for preorder. Said fukk it and pulled the trigger. I don’t even know if I want to go with an Arrow Lake CPU yet but I didn’t want the stock to be gone before I made the decision. They never make many of the higher end Maximus boards.

Normally id upgrade from my 4090 to the new upcoming 5090 but i dont see a big jump to do so. I finally bushed 2k gaming and went 4k due to the new 240hz 4k monitors(my 4090 gets 200+ fps on most games). No reason at all to jump to the 5090 unless 8k gaming becomes a more affordable thing at 120hz+

Yea my 4090 will do just fine. I have C2, but recently started gaming more on my 27inch monitor at 1440 and can't tell the difference, except for the black levels of course. My monitor has 3000:1 CR, so it's good enough.

I'll get the 5090 in 5 years when these Unreal 5.5 games start releasing

I found an open box one they're reserving for me for $1600 it was returned a month ago, still has over 10 months of warranty because the guy who bought it only had it for 2 weeks before returning it (guessing that nerd couldn't live without 4090). My only concern is this will be my very first PC and I don't know shyt about aio.


The thought of entering PC gang with this steal of a deal has me up pacing in my living room posting on the coli at 5 in the morning
