So maybe I should throw this AMD processor to the bushes for the 4690k then?

I'm not really qualified to answer that question since I am an Intel stan and the one time I used an AMD processor it was the single worst PC experience of my life.

The only reason I think AMD should even be allowed to exist is to at least have another brand of cpu so intel can't just corner the market and charge whatever they want.

Not a fan of AMD anything...

Watch Dogs is an unoptimized POS.

The 2500K is starting to get a little long in the tooth though, I think there is a game out that that just recently listed that as the minimum CPU. Going to have to go Haswell, which means a new board for you.

Just save up some more to upgrade the GPU, your performance increase in a $100 card wont be that significant over the 6870

Nothing but a 6gb card can play watch dogs at high or ultra textures. That game is just very poorly optimized. I hate that fukking game!

I agree with @Liquid, just save up for a 970 or something. That'll last you at 1080p for a while

How much?

It will run games, but it always comes down to price.

You could probably build that yourself for like 600-700 without the peripherals and windows.

lol, I don't know about UK hardware prices, but $1300 does seem like a lot for an AMD build

Anybody got any Raid Controller Card recommendations? I will run either Raid 5 or 6 with 4 3TB drives in 5 or 6 drives in Raid 6 if I add two more later.
