we got people saying that watch dogs stutters at 1080p with a 980.Do you even know what 1080p requires? You game on 3x1080p...
Nobody on here has a 500 machine that I know of. He specifically mentioned gta v. Is that gonna run at 1080p, 30fps, on high with a $200 card? If it does, I'll be VERY surprised. You go into fear mode differently than others too. You benchmark 3DMark and are about to commit that if you score 50 points less.
A 670 can be copped sub $200. If you want that console experience drop the resolution down to 792p or 900p and cap it at 30 fps, and set it to High
shyt ports by Capcom and Ubisoft don't equate to all is going to shyt. But I'll let you continue to tell it.

People should have realistic expectations. I seriously don't think you can get a ps4 level experience with $500.
developers have been saying high is the ps4 equivalent for a lot of these games. That's why I used that metric. People need to know what it really costs to have a ps4 level experience, with all ports, not just the ones ya'll like to quote. What does that really cost? The only metric I ever see being compared here is to BF4. Yeah, we can run BF4 on ultra for 600 or 700. But what about these other games?lol@"high" like if that is some static setting across games and consoles. You're comparing apples to oranges. Trying to put the square block in the triangular hole. Only thing you're dead on about is that $500 ain't going to cut it, not for everything.
$250 is half your budget right there. You seriously gotta skimp on EVERYTHING else to stay under $500-600i've spent $250 on each of my last 2 GPU's....Evga GTX 560 and 760.
they both did me well...i'm still rocking my 760.
i'm on a single monitor at 1080p.
i upgrade my GPU every 2 years.
the game moves so quickly in PC gaming...you just gotta put your head down for a while and let it pass.

Ubisoft is a major developer. You're just gonna have him not play those games at all?

telling people that they can game at ps4 levels when you are guilty of the same thing as me 780 sli overclocked, high end cpu, etc.Listen breh,
I ain't about to go a 1000 posts in with you. Continue to look for where to put that square block,

No, you definitely don't need a 500 gpu. And the games are only are cheaper if you wait, but some people don't mind waiting. New games are the exact same price as consoles. Which sucksi am in no way, shape or form endorsing a $500 gaming rig.
i'm just saying that you don't need a $500 GPU to game on a PC.
if you want to game on a PC then you are gonna drop $1000....but in the long run you will save with the price of games.
Everybody knows you have sli 780. You've mentioned it here. I thought it was common knowledge. I apologize if I stepped over the lineI didn't tell anyone anything. My convo was strictly with you,
