Tried that too. Mostly been doing that, alternating, etc. I have tried all possible combinations.

FYI, the manual says with one stick, use the 2nd closest to the CPU. For two, use the 2nd and the 4th.

i know this may sound stupid but are you locking your ram in tight?
2 bad ram sticks is a shytty draw...other than that you got a shytty mobo.

you have an Asus...so do i and it's done me solid but you never know.

sorry you going through this, word to @Ciggavelli

Computer problems are the worst. Good luck @Reid2Achieve I've been there. Bad ram fukked my shyt up too. I have an ASUS board as well.

Maybe just take the ram back and exchange it for new ram. If the new ram is still fukked up, then you'll know it's your motherboard

last year all of my games were crashing after a half hour of playing.
i did everything you could imagine before i tested my ram.
eventually i started the "ram swap game" and discovered that one of my four sticks was bad.

took me 3 days to do the easiest thing and that's what it was.

Yeah...my mobo only has one locking mechanism for each ram slot and I'm putting them in there pretty hard.

Thanks man

Both PSU connectors plugged into your mobo? Where PCIE connectors plugged into your GPU when you had it in your system? Are your fans spinning...

Try resetting your CMOS.
