This was one of the greatest pieces of television I've ever witnessed :wow:....from start to finish the shyt was pure brilliance. This season started out different. More action than psychological thriller. I still really enjoyed the first 3 episodes but it still felt like something was off. But this episode was enough for me to never doubt these writers again. It's clear now that we just need to shut the fukk up and let the story play out. Season 1 blew my mind. I have no doubts season 2 gonna leave us all fukked in the head by the time it's over. Last night's episode already got me there:ohlawd:

Ed Harris deserves an Emmy for this shyt. Him and Jeffrey dean Wright are leaving me legit speechless at their performances. I'm just sitting in my room high as fukk like "is this real life?":mindblown:......these dudes are acting the shyt out of these roles.

The scene with MIB and Craddock was intense as fukk

"You think you understand death. But you dont. You didn't recognize him sitting across from you this whole time"

Dawg.....:wow:

"Don't worry amigo. I'm here now. watching over you":demonic:

:damn:

This show is God level:noah:

It was an excellent episode and the acting was top notch from MIB, William, Delos and Bernard. It really is another level from most of the shows on TV and there are so many quotables. My favourite was
“You live only as long as the last person who remembers you.”

I love the fact despite getting answers we're still tumbling down the rabbit hole, it's cool Elsie is back. I didn't miss Teddy and Delores at all in this episode.

Crazy that despite living in such an advanced age Delos was reduced to living out his years on a loop getting scraped time after time, and the kicker is he stopped funding the research for the disease he eventually contracted :wow:

I think it would be dope if Ford printed young Williams body and uploaded his consciousness into it, would be yet another fukk you from Ford.

Can't wait to see Shogun World brehs :blessed:

Here I was thinking this shyt was a show about robots growing a conscious and waging war on humanity. Come to find out it's about humans seeking immortality. And it's probably not even truly about that either:mjlol:.....they're just gonna keep taking us further and further down the rabbit hole til we cant take anymore:mjcry:

I used to hope for immortality. But the truth is everybody NEEDS to die. No organism is meant to live forever. Not even this earth has the ability to live forever. So how can we?

The truth is humans dont have the mental strength to live forever. 100 years is around the maximum our minds can handle before we start to go insane. All of the stress, pain, and trauma that we endure through life takes a slow toll on us and just breaks us down. You could give a man the ability to live 10,000 years and his brain would probably be complete mush by the year 200. Our minds aren't built to handle that much life.

My bad I'm high as fukk and thinking out loud. That's what this show does to me. gets my mind spinning like nothing else:wow:

No Whammies!!
I wouldn't have admitted it, but up until yesterday I feared the show might be falling off and devolving into Jurassic Park+the 2nd half of the 70's Westworld movie. I didn't even watch the episode until just now, and last year I often watched the episodes twice on the Sunday it aired. But WOW that was a good episode.

Soooooooo, the little ball that Bernard grabbed before he set the massacre in the lab in motion? I'm 95% sure that it's Ford's consciousness, or whatever. Like how they were trying to get Delos's 'mind', for lack of a better word, into a host, Ford wants Bernard to do that with him.

Robert is alive, he is moving from host to host.

Here's what I think:
The orb IS Ford consciousness, but he's not physically located inside one single host. Instead, he's plugged into the router we saw last year (in the room where Bernard choked out Elsie) and broadcasting his signal directly into the subconscious of every host. It's the code that Elsie saw in the terminal that was more advanced than anything she saw before. He's the new voice in all of their heads.

The stuff in Abernathy's head is probably the "cookies" (to use Black Mirror terminology) or "stacks" (to use Altered Carbon terminology) of MULTIPLE dead Delos executives trying to be immortal.

How did Lawrence "know" that William had a daughter? The Hosts memory blocks breaking down?
Yes, William recognized that he's remembering previous loops just like he saw Teddy doing last year.

I think THIS is exactly what happened to William. He was the one who originally convinced James Delos that they should fund a search for immortality, but after his wife died he did a 180 degree turn and started to see himself as an Angel of Death. He doesn't think ANYBODY is worthy of "The Valley Beyond"/"Glory"/etc. Since Ford is immortal, Ford has to go too.

My prediction and I think there's clues leading to this, William is going to find out that his body been long dead. The Delos experiment was a clue that William was preparing it for himself and his "game" is for him to find himself. The biggest hint to that was when the Man in Black had the computer glitchy flashback similar to how Bernard have his and it's unusual for that to happen through him. So, I predict it's not Ford that's coming back but that it is William who was testing Delos until it's perfected and his consciousness is transferred.

Same here, dudes stealing some screenwriters spoilers from Reddit and acting like they're making a "prediction" :stopitslime:. Gtfoh. All that "prediction" stuff is annoying, just analyze the current episode and STFU.

If these two posts are connected and the thing on top happens, home boy deserves a ban.

Yeah, you could see the burnout setting in as he visited Delos over the years. By that last visit he was literally like "fukk Life"
