The Official TLOU Part 3 Speculation/Ideas Thread

Yeah Ellie will give herself up for a cure in the beginning of Part 3, then shyt will go awry. The doctor may be on some shady shyt or working for the Rattlers against the Fireflies. Or Jesse Jr will somehow be immune. I feel like the story will revolve around the cure.

I feel like the Rattlers will play a more significant role in Part 3 and the Wolves will essentially be damn near “has-been” status like the Fireflies in Part 2. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if any remaining groups of Scars decided to go total Jihad on the WLF’s home base in Seattle in Part 3 in retaliation for the invasion and destruction of their home island....Essentially making Seahawk Stadium compromised and no longer suitable for living occupation and food sustainability...Sending WLF home base forces and refugees scattered in the urban decay and further inland towards the wilderness and further north or east of Seattle.

I hope part 3 is about new people I think the Joel and Ellie / Abby saga wrapped up as good as it could

I have a feeling Part 3 will be a new playable character or characters in Europe,
w/ characters from Part1/Part 2 making an appearance and becoming playable or being referenced
The game will take place partly in other unexplored parts of America I feel and move to Europe
Ellie is unplayable since Neil decided to make Abby bite her two fingers off so idk what purpose she will serve combat wise
I'm still mad I didn't get my full Ellie game that was promised and Neil made sure that will never be a possibility

You ain't seeing the 3rd game until towards the end of this new gen.

And it will be set in the usa. the story setting is too americana for it not to be

strong hints point to it not being America only

To be honest I felt this wasn't going to get a part 3

Abby man stop. Ellie is Done. Abby and Lev were probably in a nightmare with those slave drivers. The A cup goddess survives all odds once again and humbled Ellie 3 times.

Now they need to give Abby more Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and ND will have taken it to another level. Abby loses muscle mass and has to use the purrest skill. The gentle art. . Abby finds manuals she reads at save points and squires new moves. Abby, now a nomad is forced 2 destroyed the last remnants of the fireflies and take the crown.

They really should have had abby in all the marketing material. Joel and ellie's role in the game should have been kept secret, they should have advertised the game as a new story with new characters. Joel's death should have happened midway through the game and then have the player take control of Ellie to hunt abby down.

That would have allowed people to connect with Abby before having her kill a beloved character.

The game suffered from the same problems as metal gear solid 2 except it was worse because riden didnt kill snake 20 minutes into the game.

MGS2 grew on a lot of people who hated it but if they did that the game and franchise would have never recovered

I really don't know what Neil was thinking because he's obsessed w/ Abby
I've never seen someone completely sabotage characters/an entire franchise for one character like this
The false advertising and shame tactics for disliking the story/2nd half structure didn't help either

You can't make people wait nearly a decade, lead them to believe they will play w/ the faces of the franchise, kill one of the faces in the dumbest way possible and basically say get over it, destroy the other face's personality from the first game and entire story story arc, and then force people to play as the new character you are obsessed with that was never advertised for the 2nd half of the game


How did ND/Neil think that was a good idea?

Naughty Dog should make a part 3 and be done with it. They better not milk this franchise like The Walking Dead. We don't need a Last of Us part 12.

hopefully we get a bit of a timeskip again. Maybe we'ere new chracters and we gotta find ellie or some shyt.

i hope factions is a co-op game with single player experiences and stories you can play together, similar to tsushima. I would love to play as a WLF or Seraphyte and maybe have it explain the before and after of their big war.
