When a chick that you haven't smashed yet keeps mentioning that she likes aggressive men. She is an attention where who is trying to get you to make a move.

@Neguinha Is kinda right, tho.....I don't trust women who routinely refer to Black men as Black males and Black boys...it shows lack of RESPECT.
I say female all the time, if someone gets offended over that, hey :hubie:
"Female" and "woman" are two different things. I don't call other women "females". I don't say to a stranger, "Hey, female! How's it going?" It doesn't even make sense. There's "woman", "lady", "broad", "sista", "girlfriend", etc. Call me "scoob" or "hitta" before you call me "female".

I've never heard a man use the term "female" in a way that was not disparaging and derogatory. No gentleman is calling a woman that he holds in high regard "female". Never.

I don't call my mother "female". I wouldn't call my man "male". Why would I refer to my own boyfriend as "male"? Like I previously stated, it doesn't make sense.

I don't adress females as females to them, only when referring to them. If I'm talking to you I'm addressing you by your name.

Under no circumstance would I call my mother or girlfriends "female" when I am referring to them. Not ever. Like why? Do these women not have identities? "Female" is the best way that we can describe a group of women without saying their names?

"Female" is lazy. It's incorrect and if I'm being honest, I don't know of any educated people who use these terms to refer to women.
If I'm talking to you I'm addressing you by your name.
And if you don't know a woman's name, what will you refer to her as? Female?

females is only used to colloquily generalize or reference a group of women that you don't know

Nobody uses female to address a person

I refer to mostly unknown females as females. For instance if I was describing her to another person, "You see that female over there?"
I say woman as well but when I'm in a professional setting I say female.

And if I'm talking to someone and I don't know their name of course I'm not going to say "female, what's your name" or "woman, what's your name" I'll say "Ms." or "mam"

Both of you are reiterating the same sentiments; that "unknown women" get called "females". For some reason, "woman" is seeing resistance in your vocabularies. For some reason, we can't call unknown, unnamed women "women". We have to call them "females". We have to refer to them as their sex. We have to refer to them as their biological identities. We have to refer to them as their chromosomes. We have to refer to them as their vaginas. Why?

You would not call a female human "female". You would call her a "woman".

I'm not here to change your terminology, but I want to express why this word bothers me. I hate "females" more than I hate "bytches" or "hoes". "bytches" and "hoes" is obvious. These are ugly words. They're not meant to positive, but when I hear people using "females" so casually without regard to the connotations, I itch. I don't like when girls call each other "females". I don't like when girls call each other "bytch". Especially black women.

I'm one of those types.
