but $400 is impossible
Sony can obviously sell it at 500 and make a profit but I wouldn't be surprised if they shocked everyone and priced it lower than expectations and decide to take a loss if they feel like they can one up MS
This is why they're waiting for MS to announce their price first
Sony has stated themselves they want PS4 owners jumping to the PS5 as fast as possible
That includes casual consumers
They will need to have an attractive price to do that

Edit: People will bring up the digital only console but not everyone wants a digital only console for various reasons
