LA is the shyt, you trippin OP. A lot of major cities have nice and not so nice parts but just in terms of weather and things to do LA is better than most cities.

That's what I'm looking at doing. Going half on a nice spot, about $1200 a month. Can literally ride a bike to work in less than 10 minutes. Hop on the light rail to go to Santa Monica on the weekends. Don't have to deal with that bad west side traffic if I'm trying to leave the city for a weekend getaway. And I'll be able to stack quite a bit.

Imma be winning something serious come New Years.

I was in LA this summer. He's right for the most part. The smog was so bad you couldn't see the sun or the clouds. I was expecting bumper to bumper traffic but it wasn't bad compared to NYC or Dallas. Long Beach and San Bernardino was dirtier than expected with bums riding around on bikes everywhere.

I would rather live in Oregon or Washington if I was on the West coast. California for the most part looks like Texas. Dry and dirty.

the food

LA has it's garbage just like every other major city in America. New York isn't any nicer. Same goes for Chicago, Miami, etc. There is a gutter side to every city.

I like Chicago more than L.A. overall personally.
