Judea was a region under Roman occupation. It was no longer the Kingdom of Judah. They took the southern Kingdoms area and extended it into the northern Kingdom's area and called it Judea. The word Judea did not exist before the Romans came and took over. Just like the British put Hausas, Yorubas and Igbo in the same country and called it Nigeria, when at one point Yorubas and Igbos were under Southern Nigeria until 1914.
