DC did a Flash mini-series in 2011 that led to time and reality being altered so that the DCU became an amalgamation of the regular DC universe, the Wildstorm universe and the Vertigo universe.
The Batman characters have stayed mostly the same but there have been some changes, mostly with Tim Drake since he was never Robin but was always Red Robin.
