On one hand, i like that they had Blade "headline" a summer event since they typically don't do that ever for negroes

On the other hand, it was a pump fake since it lasted all of 4 issues with the nygga lierally possessed/MIA in spirit for 98% of it :mjlol:

Literally no character growth or introspection for him. They didn't even market to those that missed his solo run that he has god-like Alucard powers now. You'd never know.

It's not a bad mini at all from a technical standpoint but Mahershala would be lookin at these nyggas like :gucci: if this was the movie script :mjlol:

X-Men #1 was solid.
The last page has a QR code that links to a bonus page.
Union Jack The Ripper is one weird comic.
Ultimates #2 is more enjoyable than Avengers right now, but I didn't care for the reveal.

I stopped looking at the weekly comics list. It’s been years since I was read an ongoing series. I was mostly reading mini-series. I plan on checking Hickman’s Wolverine when it drops tho.

About the new Absolute Universe from DC
Then that the line would include Absolute Batman by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta, Absolute Superman by Jason Aaron. Absolute Wonder Woman by Kelly Thompson. Absolute Flash by Jeff Lemire. Then that Al Ewing would write Absolute Green Lantern and Deniz Camp would write Absolute Martian Manhunter.

Since then, Bleeding Cool has run how the Absolute Universe will be about superheroes as underdogs. A radical reinvention of classic DC superheroes in a shared universe, as if they had been invented today with a Batman as a huge, street-level thug. But also that this will be one strand of DC narratives going forward, with a jumping-on point across the DC Comics publishing line, as part of DC All-In. And later today, Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson will tell all…

The first issue of Ultimate X-Men was so boring to me that I never bothered to read any issues further than that
Yea. Maybe somewhere amidst the slow-pace, unrecognizable characters, and manga art style catering to 12-old girls, is a great blossoming story... but I bushed it half way thru issue 1, so that will remain an unsolved scooby doo mystery for me

Gotta say, I really like how Ultimate Black Panther flows and reads so quickly. It's an easy and fun read :hubie:

It's very much a manga in comic format. I really like Momoko's art and the story is good enough for me to keep reading. But it's certainly a very slow burn. I honestly wonder how long can Peach go with this because it's written like she knows she'll have 25-30 issues minimum :pachaha:
