I loved both of these. Another one of the "Trapped and left for dead" type flick I just caught is Down Range (it's on Shudder). Some college kids on a road trip find themselves pinned down and targeted by a sniper...it's over the top, the sniper has pinpoint accuracy unless the plot needs him to miss, characters make some dumb decisions; but I was glued to it and entertained.
Not sure if Haunt counts...but Haunt was one of my top 3 for 2019.
Meant to post this a couple days ago but I been busy.
I watched "Vivarium" and "The Color Out Of Space".
"Vivarium" was cool. Basically a "Twilight Zone" ep as a movie. I had some minor complaints but over all I liked it.
I fukking loved "The Color Out Of Space". Only minor complaint I had was Nicholas Cage kinda went off the rails in a few scenes. But I'd say over all it's the best Lovecraft adaptation by a wide margin.

I get that's his MO but he can channel that into something good. Like in "Mandy". Dude did half the movie on 10 and it worked.
He was just goofy over the top in this movie, in a couple scenes. Not enough to ruin the movie or anything but I was sitting there like

Anybody seen Caught? I kinda hatewatched it but the main antagonist went all-in on his performance and I feel like it's not one I'll forget any time soon. This lockdown's got me watching way too much of this streaming ish fam.
