I agree with this woman’s tweet
The concept is really good, for female empowerment to a younger segment. True - The Ring is the reason why I don’t put all PG13 movies in the same lane. That was real scary for what it was. I Watched the trailer, as long as they don’t give it the full “R.L. Stine” meshed with Disney Teen/TeenNick treatment, should be okay.Yeah I get the idea but I need to see the execution. Idk how much of the trailer you watched but its clearly designed with women in mind in terms of its message and its characters and the story and plot machinations. That's the best I can do without giving all that shyt away lol but it seems she wants girls to get into the theater who normally wouldn't be allowed. and it IS possible to make scary Pg13 horror. shyt the ring scared the fukk out of me in high school
yeah I they go full goosebumps or are you afraid fo the dark with it, that's a nah. don't soften it up, and your message can still resonate. I really hope the team and the studio know what they're doingThe concept is really good, for female empowerment to a younger segment. Rhat is crazy . Give it some kind of releaseStop being scared and just release it on demand. I’m sorry, but I cannot abide this shyt
Yeah. Shudder is a must have for me anyway- so I would pay for that regardless. I still installed kodi on my Fire Stick to download (or is it upload?) movies on my tv. But with the kids tv shows and family room - I'm not doing all that shyt, they have the smart tvs with already installed streaming apps (hulu, Netflix, amazon prime video)- just easier and less time consuming to pull up. I have to purchase off my account by default for them anyway.Y'all paying for y'all horror, huh?

To back up these comments - here's a list of horror movies inspired by real events/people. But they have an issue with release "Hunt" thoughSets a concerning precedent as far as censorship and the boundaries of arts being affected by real life events. Most of the time, they end up making movies years later about the event like they do with serial killers (BTK) or catastrophic events.
