Kind of a shock that Montgomery is still a FA this close to Opening Day.
I don't think he's elite, but he should have been signed months ago by someone.

So one of the hyped prospects in recent years has been Hunter Greene on the Reds.

To be sure, the strikeouts are there.
But it does not look like he is learning control.

He throws hard but this guy either has to dial it down and learn how to pitch, or he's destined for the bullpen.

It's certainly possible that Ohtani was just paying off a debt for his friend.

I just don't like this characterization of "the bookie has no reason to cover"
Really?

Is that why he fukkin let everyone believe Ohtani was a client?
They're asking me to believe the bookie was okay with THAT LIE, but only that one.

Yall are never going to learn that rookies almost always struggle at the major league level.

Last year it was Jordan Walker and Elly de la Cruz.
This time it's gonna be Wyatt Langford.

Next year y'all gonna be hyped over someone else.

Only positive for Langford is that the lineup is legit and the park is conducive.

Otherwise, I hope someone falls in love with him on draft day.

Oneil Cruz on the other hand, he might be the 3rd bat I draft after Acuna /Vlad.

Definitely do not take Oneil Cruz in the 3rd round.

There are other players who will score more raw points for you

The league I'm in is based off the prices in this book

Acuna is the most expensive player at $63 (Cap is $320 for 22 players). I gotta offset that somehow and if I can get Edwin Diaz and Oneil Cruz early (both are $0), that's gonna free me up later on to spend. This isn't your typical redraft league.

I'll give you an example of how this league will play out.

I'm 100% certain Yamamoto is going 2nd overall because of his upside but also because he's $0.

EDIT: Truth be told, I don't expect Diaz or Cruz to even make it back to my turn.
