Ball was flying out the park that game. My little home run tracker was hot.
Since the All-Star break and that report about Garrett Crochet being unwilling to pitch in the postseason if he was traded to a contender without an extension, he's had five starts. In those five starts he's thrown 4, 3, 4, 2.1 (got shelled) and 4 innings.
I get the caution since he's never been a full-time starter before but as an interested team, why would I break the bank for this guy this winter? From what I've heard, he says he feels great, physically. Call me old school, but why not just let him pitch normal as long as he feels fine?
