By the way if you go through the games the OP used in his original post the Thunder won most of those games/did better in the 2nd half of games where Westbrook started shooting more/Westbrook played and shot better in the 2nd half of games. The shyt Dankster didn't tell you in his shyt filled post.

Fools are legit tossing negs at me because Westbrook gets triple-doubles. :dead:

What part of my post made you think that I didn't think he'd keep getting triple-doubles? The fact that he keeps doing it and will keep doing it is the whole point, rock-brains.

:mindblown:

So what you're saying is he should stop chasing 10 assists and start shooting more? :jbhmm:

And of course Westbrook is going to tend to get triple-doubles in Thunder wins. Did you not read that part of my post, or could you just not understand it? Take last night - if Vucevic makes that free throw with 13 seconds left, the Thunder lose AND Westbrook doesn't get his triple double. If Vucevic makes that little jumper with 1:23 left, the Thunder lose AND Westbrook doesn't get his triple double. Westbrook's triple-double was a side-effect of the win, it didn't cause it.

The Thunder making shots and the opponents missing shots are what cause the Thunder to win. Uncontested rebounds are not causing Thunder wins, they are the result of the opponent missing shots, and you just said yourself right above that Westbrook getting assists is not causing Thunder wins.

Ya'all are too much with your "logic".

I've been saying this about LeBron and Westbrook for years. The box score doesn't determine the way a player plays on the court.

You can also see when players get a pass from Westbrook they take the shot quickly. There is never an extra pass. It's like he told them I'm getting my assists, get with the plan.

There isn't a substitute for watching the game and his game is cemented this way, needlessly selfish. He will stay in OKC out of spite now.

It's part of the reason why Kawhi deserves the MVP, his stats are what they show and he takes it overboard with his defense. Best two-way player in the game.

But stats show when he is on the court the team's defense is worse?
So you just contradicted yourself.

While @The Dankster's approach maybe a tad aggressive, it's not really negative - he's simply saying the Thunder aren't winning because of his triple doubles, which is absolutely 100% true.
It goes beyond this thread tbh, Russ has a lot of negativity attached to him

Like I said, at face value this guy is averaging a trip doub, along with 30+ points and keeping his team afloat

We should be celebrating him instead of nitpicking him IMO
