Anybody know more about the current beef going on between Emma and Cenk/TYT? I know they've been beefing with each other openly on Twitter over some trans shyt and Cenk addressed it yesterday but I missed most of Emma's responses this week on TMR.
Cenk and Emma just hosted an episode of TYT together not even 2 weeks ago which makes this even more bizarre.

From what I've gathered Ana pulled a strawman regarding trans nomenclature. Some people went at her because she's 'transphobic' but people were mostly like 'wtf are doing?' Also people noticed pattern Ana/TYT were on (pro-cop, pro-billionaire mayor, getting pally with Ben Shapiro).
Emma is always defending them and was very cordial in her tweets (on some 'I love you guys' and 'my good friend Ana') but Cenk in return was an a$$hole in his responses to her.

Olayemi was making a tik tok defending anthem Reese, out of nowhere Ana pulled a clip from 2 weeks ago about how Olayemi felt people were going easy on Ana and deserved to be cooked. Like completely unrelated. And from there a huge civil war between Ana/cenk vs EVERYBODY has erupted. I personally prefer to stay out of these things because I know a lot of the people involved but this Olayemi by herself put them in a body bag with this

A couple of weeks back, Ana tweeted something about feeling dehumanized by people calling her a "birthing person" instead of a woman. A lot of people responded that "Birthing person" used to describe women doesn't actually happen in conversations outside of certain specific settings (ie: trans issue discussions, certain medical discussions). Ana and Cenk disagreed and it got tough (The Young Turfs was trending for a while
).Anyway, the youtube/podcast/twitch Left mostly addressed the issue by agreeing that Ana had fallen into a rightwing frame on this topic. But the majority of them STRESSED that TYT is good, and Ana and Cenk are on the good side. Emma's initial response on MR was clipped out and titled "Ana Kasparian IS NOT transphobic." Olayemi called out that people were being way to apologetic about it, and basically just said "it's a bad take, we don't need to coddle them."
It died down. No one talking about it anymore. That's when Ana popped up on an unrelated video with beef for Olayemi as if there was a betrayal. Cenk threw this gem out
And a bunch of lefties responded, seeming open to discussing the topic and disagree with some of the framing or approach. Cenk started clapping at them though. Ana went on the air and shot a subliminal at Olayemi and said she's done having leftist guests on the show. Cenk name dropped Lance from the Serfs. TYT hosts are went after people, while also playing the victim card.

They wanted to cancel anyone who was platforming kanye for his antisemitism but then they also platform ben Shapiro who is advocating and platforming numerous people who are transphobic and antisemitic
Imo I think they are legit transitioning into becoming the daily wire of the left only they are fake leftists
