Reading some of the reddit and twitter responses, people are saying Nomiki has always been like this. I don't know, I'm sure some of those responses, if not most, are just hindsight intakes or posts made in anger. I don't remember her giving off any shill vibes to this extent before. Very odd, but money talks I suppose.

Post script to the Nomiki debacle. She dropped out and endorsed Gonzalez a while ago, but a right wing super pac is still using her image in attack ads that she has nothing to do with.

I'm not a regular Majority Report viewer, I catch a few clips from time to time but she always gave of a weird MSNBC panelist/DNC operative vibe to me. I feel like she never contributed anything new or different, would just agree with Sam or go a bit overboard to fit in

Emma with Sam is hard to watch as well. Emma contributes but it feels like they're talking past each other, Sam is just waiting for her to finish so he can continue doing his own thing.

Emma with Brandon and Matt is also bad. If it wasn't enough to have three people talking over each other and over a 10 second clip, which they pause five times, then you also have the producer chiming in over them.

She stopped campaigning and told her supporters to vote for Gonzalez to make sure Crowley didn't win off the spoiler effect.

Mondaire Jones did the opposite and hung around a race where the progressive top choice Yuh-Line Nioh wound up losing to a corporate tool that the NYT propped up named Dan Goldman. The margins? Goldman 25.8% over Nioh 23.7% with two progressive spoilers stealing votes from Nioh in Mondaire 18.2% and Carlina Rivera 17%.

Nomiki will catch flack for her attempt, but at least she got out of the way. Mondaire got forced into a crap situation and kamikaze'd a progressive district's best option on his way out.

I agree. I think it's no different than the modern Conservative culture war campaigns to marginalize other groups as well.
