How much is the game on steam?
it's been down to around $12 during sales (I think the Steam Summer Sale will be soon)
fuct up part is the Legendary Edition has been cheaper than buying the DLC's. shyt basically punishes people that bought the base game. and now the shyt continues cause you need all the DLC's to play this new version. hopefully they have some other upgrade options

Im gonna give you some great instructions on how to play Skyrim
When you start the game you will be in the main quest line, don't do it
Go wonder around and find other shyt to do. When you start seeing how much you can do, and how much of a world you have at your fingertips, you should love it
