On the real though, I gotta get back into this game. I got stuck on a boss fight where you gotta take out 3 ghouls 1 by 1. The second one makes about 8 copies of himself and takes me out with arrows.
That new DLC come with missions or is it just property building?
morthal
I got the dlc, I have been playing the fukk out it, here's the breakdown:
*You can only build houses in three locations: North of Falkreath, The Pale (South of Dawnstar) and Morthal
*You have to talk to the Jarls of the holds or their stewards to get the quest if you are not approached by a courier when wondering around a city
*If you are approached by a courier make sure you read the letter because some of the housing opportunites wont pop up
*If you arent approached by the courier make sure you dont have any of these quest open for falkreath
Getting the book The Mirror for captain Aldis in Solitude
Getting a Mammoth Tusk for Ysolda in Whiterun
Getting the book Song of the Alchemists for Lami in Morthal
Getting the book Night falls on Sentinel for Rustleif in Dawnstar
Getting an Amulet of Arkay for Torbjorn Shatter-Shield in Windhelm
*The first house you build will be tedious because you have to get alot of material, To get a head start stock up on iron ingots, at least 40, and corundum ingots (at least 20)
*The first house I got fully furnished ran me about 20,000 for all the materials
*Not available until you get the dlc but:
also buy about 100 logs from any mill, alot of stone and clay NOTE: Once you build a small part hire a steward, it makes getting these 3 materials to build the house soooooo much easier
The layouts for your house are a bit disappointing because they follow the same formula, your houses will look like this:
-------------------------------------------[left option]
[entry room(starts off as smallhouse)][middle room][back option]
-------------------------------------------[right option]
you can put a cellar under the middle room, do it
You only get 3 options on each optional side, and they are ONLY available for that side
left enchanters tower or bedrooms or greenhouse backalchemy or storage or trophy room rightarmory or library or kitchen
With that said here is my recommended build and why
-------------------------------------------[bedrooms]
[entry room(starts off as smallhouse)][middle room][trophy room]
-------------------------------------------[armory]
unless you really want the view the towers are fukking useless because you can get an enchanter and alchemy lab without the tower, the middle room has both of these available
same with the kitchen, the middle room will take care of your eating needs, its huge
the greenhouse is bit disappointing because there are a large number of plants you cant plant in it
and a library, really nikka? you aint reading them books man
and the storage room is
The worst part of the dlc:
THE CASES FOR YOUR WEAPONS ARE BUGGY, IF YOUR LUCKY THEY WILL SCATTER YOUR shyt WHEN YOU PUT STUFF IN THEM, IF YOUR NOT YOUR shyt MAY DISAPPEAR, DONT USE THEM
also:
built this big ass house, it looked damn good when I finished moved Aela (my wife) and my two daughters in, then talked to Aela about it and she fukking hated it, she asked me what was I thinking moving them out there cause it isnt safe So I moved them back to Solitude and have this big ass house that my housecarl, bard, and steward live in
The best part of the dlc
the kids- give them enchanted daggers brehs
They next up on this superhero shyt cause Im about to hang it up
having somewhere to spread out all my shyt
having a chick sing about how great I am while I practice archery
I haven't played this game since they started releasing the DLC last year. Anybody know if they patched the Persuasion glitch? Thats the only cheat I want to use.
they recently released an updated high-res texture pack for the PC. it updates the prior high-res pack (it was missing some textures), and adds high-res textures for the DLC's
Just disenchant everything you find in the chest, wait two days by the entrance to make sure the khajit salesmen is there with his camp, talk to him to look at his inventory..rinse and repeat
great way to make fast money also, by either selling all the enchanted items in the chest or taking regular items and enchanting them..then selling them.
