I love how ppl nitpick in a movie where a guy is driving a bat plane around or most ppl couldnt figure out he was batman. Yes nolan tries to make the movie as real as possible but its still a super hero movie.

ppl really wanted to watch bruce travel back to gothem? I guess yall want to watch hin brush his teeth too?

you said him do some of the trickery that he did in begins, you seen him take out like 8 or 9 goons in front of blake like it wasn't nothing later on. you seen him throw his bat darts are goons before lighting up the bat symbol. then you see him kick bane's ass in the end. WHUT MORE DID YOU WANT???? it gave you everything, even a batpod chase, the bat aerial chase...i mean, damn, homie...

C'mon my dude.... be for real for a moment. This is the FINALE of the trilogy. Nolan could've given us at least 3 of the GOAT Batman scenes in this one. But he didn't. Instead he wasted time on meanliness "reality" shyt at times. The scenes you mentioned were great, don't get me wrong. But out of the scenes you threw back at me, only one really represented what Batman is all about (him versus the 9 guys). And that last Bane fight was anti-climatic. I would have rather seen Batman resort to some tricky "strategery" to take Bane out. But a fist fight??
And that back breaker should've fukked Wayne up for good. No way he comes back after only 3 months. So arthritist in the knee put him down worse than a broken back??

C'mon my dude.... be for real for a moment. This is the FINALE of the trilogy. Nolan could've given us at least 3 of the GOAT Batman scenes in this one. But he didn't. Instead he wasted time on meanliness things at time. The scenes you mentioned were great, don't get me wrong. But out of the scenes you threw back at me, only one really represented what Batman is all about (him versus the 9 guys). And that last Bane fight was anti-climatic. I would have rather seen Batman resort to some tricky "strategery" to take Bane out. But a fist fight??

I do agree with some if this. The last fight could of been better. I didnt need all the extras in the background. Thats what made the first fight so great, no music. Just fighting.

I just hope they don't do the same thing with the Supes movie (try to make it more realistic). Comic book movies should just kick ass. Plain and simple.

My idea would keep the gritty/kinda realistic aspect of Nolan's but change the era.

I would have it set in an art deco type of manhattan.

Examples would be that recent king kong movie, dikk Tracey, batman animated series look.

Everyone in top hats old style vehicles etc etc.

I would cast that dude from mad men as batman.

Instead of fox I would replace him with nikola tesla.

The story would be about a CIA/mafia war and conspiracy with the mob being taken over by a failed experiment by Hugo strange.

A new mind control brainwashing technique that goes wrong that indirectly creates a skitzo/bipolar individual who expresses his anger thru a dummy by the name of scarface.

I would also throw in Rupert Thorne who was a crime boss in the animated series as the political angel in the story who is attempting to run for governor against the penguin.

I would have batman doing real detective work as well.

not bad, I always loved the Animated Series. One of the reasons being the film noir type of darkness

i sensed that no matter whut nolan gave you, even the movie came with some bomb ass p*ssy, you would of still be complaining

but lemme explain something, the "trick-strategy" on BANE was pointless! you know why? because BATMAN TRIED THAT SH1T the 1st go around and BANE was unfazed like

as for the prison recovery, bruce should of thanked the prison doctor for performing miracles, but it's rather hypocritical when you complaining about nolan trying to input realism, but saying how unreal bruce's back was healed. lets just accept that whutever method they used to heal it worked.

with that said, that knee-brace thing was an instant healer too. it's not like he COULDN'T get healed quickly, but his DESIRE wasn't there for him.

Imma put my opinion of this movie to bed right now, because Nolan stans are impossible to have an unbiased discussion with, but I will say this. I enjoyed the movie. Was it what I expected, NO. Was it a great way to end the trilogy, NO. But it was entertaining. I just felt like I needed to a little more. I wasn't full when the movie ended.
I felt the same way after seeing Prometheus. (Though this was MUCH better than Prometheus).
That's also why I think Avengers was better than DKR. I was THOROUGHLY entertained by that movie. It covered damn near ALL of the top points of a comic book movie. And I felt like I had eaten a full course meal after the Thanos cameo.
So to put it in a nutshell, DKR needed a lot more batman, less extras, and A LOT more moments IMO.
But if you were completely satisfied with what you got, more power to you.

Why would they? Batman has no super powers. That is makes him "realer" than any other super hero.
