I'm looking thru this thread and at some of the shyt I'm seeing. You guys really don't know how to pay attention to a film to be having some of the complaints that I'm
seeing.

"Alfred was dreaming"

Etc.

do yall nikkas really watch movies or just skim thru it?

Rewatch Dark Knight.

When Fox made Bruce's new suit he explained that he had to make gaps in the armour to allow him more flexibility. In those gaps he wuld be vulnerable to knives.

I guess my main problem with the movie is that I didn't feel like I got my "ass kicked" after the movie was over. I wanted to see Batman go the fukk off. The closest we got to that was the scene where the guy was trying to shoot him in the dark cave. Each flash of the muzzle you see batman getting closer and closer. THAT'S the type of shyt we should've gotten more of.

Ras had one child talia.

His wife had talia in prison.

His wife was killed by the inmates.

They attempted to kill talia as well but bane protected her but in turn became completely disfigured by the same guy Bruce spoke to who Tom conti said was the prison doctor.

Ras comes back and got bane and was trained under the league of shadows but was kicked out because he saw only a monster. ( it could be suspected that he also was in love with talia as well but I won't go there)

Bane was only spoken of as her protector.

Bruce assumed before that bane was Ras son and escaped the pit but if you watch the movie these question are answered.

I mean don't get me wrong everyone is subjected to their own thoughts and opinions so I'm not going to go back n forth with you but I thought that was pretty self explanatory.

My gripe with the film is that for 2 hours we were led to belive that bane was the son of ras, so for those 2 hours im like where the hell is talia? (ras true child) and by the time they revealed her it was too late to change how i felt about the film.

about the quote in bold, it was obvious ebert wasn't paying full attention and preoccupied at the fact this was completely different from TDK, or he would of known how BANE got financed (by daggert).

another impossible travel mission here w/ bruce getting back into the city, well shaven at that.

goes right along with his impossible asian mission from the tdk

for a guy to pay so close attention to every detail, nolan has some pretty noticeable gaps in his storytelling during 3 hour films...

i already said before, being that is it a near 3hr film, that details of how bruce getting back to gotham was unneccessary for the progress of the story. just accept the fact he's the MUTHA-F*CCKIN' BATMAN and therefore is a master of sneaking in undetected, along with the patience to come there at any given point. we don't even KNOW how long he been back! we just now he was. no need to dwell deeper than that.

Talia funded him...what movie were you watching?

I don't get these cries for realistic details....it's a super hero movie....batman may be the most "realistic" super hero, but it's still a super hero movie. And each movie in this trilogy had unrealistic details.

DAGGERT was funding him, not talia. u overlooked the part where daggert claimed he was in control and bane overruled that notion, and daggert whined he spent a small fortune to fund all of it.
