Loved the movie and how it didn't leave anything open ended as far as Bruce Wayne went. Him and Selena were chilling. I'm wondering if Nolan left it open to make a Nightwing or Robin movie considering dude found the Batcave at the end.

um, the military war room didn't have knowledge that there was a TIMER on that detonator. they were under the impression, just like the cops on the bridge, that if anything happens, BANE will detonate it. hell, they didn't even know that BANE was even DEAD at that point!

I'm reading people saying elsewhere that maybe he escaped using a second "BAT". Remember when Lucious showed him the first one and said "it also comes in black"


He had one on autopilot dragging the bomb out and he escaped in the other.

bruce wayne clearly gets out alive. theres a second theory which makes a lot of sense that there were 2 bats. a black one, the one he used through out the movie and was fixed on auto pilot to take the bomb far away from gotham, while bruce escapes in the second bat using that explosion john blake saw as a distraction. the scene where you see the bomb at 0:05 is a view of the first bat, then it switches to batmans face in the second bat who is already away from gotham and the explosion. thats how he got away. he killed batman off becuase he didnt need him anymore and he had found someone similair to take up the mantle. He kills of Bruce Wayne as well because thats the whole point of the batman trilogy, that bruce wayne was just a mask and batman was the real person. bruce wayne died with his parents and never really came back to gotham so when batman died permanently, bruce wayne had to too. But knowing bruce, he left his most special friends (alfred,gordon,blake, and lucius) all a hint that he was still alive.
gordon- bruce fized the bat signal
lucius-the autopilot
alfred- alfred genuinely thought bruce was dead untill he saw him at the cafe and put the peices together.
blake- the clues to the cave

Nolan makes it very clear the Wayne is still alive and has moved on and is now living a new fresh life somewhere in the world with SELINA whos motives the ENTIRE movie were just that, to erase the past and begin a new fresh life.

They made the goons Batman would go 1 on 8 against seem braindead like video game AI on easy. There were times when he's fighting nikkas and it's like 4 dudes with guns just standing there. Then they decide to point the gun right as he turns around to punch them. In past movies the dudes with guns couldnt get him because they didnt see him coming, but in this movie they were just stupid

That really was Bruce and Selina Aka Catwoman. Alfred had no real clue on his interactions with Catwoman.

alfred was the one that 1st mentioned they should get together. this was RIGHT before he spoke of his FANTASY.
