I didn't go in with high expectations and I left extremely happy. It was a great film. Catwoman did her thing. Bane was a great heel. For me the ending served its purpose and it tied things together. Great movie which deserves all the praise it gets.
One thing that irks me is how is there no suspcion when wayne randomly appears at a hospital sustaining all those injuries and the doctors report nothingto the police. It's been 8 years and he strolls into the hospital with the injuries batman had 8 years ago.
Also with a fukked up knee he shouldn't of been moving like he did throughout the flim. Doing some pushups isn't going to put him back in peak condition and adding 8 years should've slowed him down some as well.
When the lights start shutting off and Batman rolled through with the bat-cycle... I had a smile on my face like getting a sega genesis for Christmas in the 90's.... what a great film....
One thing though.. that voice was weird of bane's... its just the way they had it sounding...it was like it wasnt coming from him it was coming from a recording if that makes since?
fam, explain this. Why would Alfred "dream" Bruce with Selina at the table? Why would he think that they were close romantically? Why? The only time in the movie he saw Selina was on a computer after she robbed Bruce.
Great movie and love the ending which was the cliche happy ending especially nightwing being born. The people that prefer the dark knight over this are ones who root for the villain and in that movie joker win in his own twisted way and we all didnt believe the city was gonna get nuked at all
i want to add something else to that the more i think of it. it would of been MORE logical to have selina in that (had it really BE a fantasy) because immediately AFTER he mentioned to bruce about they should get together is WHEN he tells him about that SPECIFIC fantasy!!! it was all in the same conversation!
I liked Banes voice. It was interesting and different. Kinda sounded intelligent and gave off his intelligence.
And did anybody who saw it last night get a little shook when
they ran up in the stock exchange shooting. Thought that woulda been a perfect Time to get
Colorado'd
The thing I liked about this series is that each individual movie can fit like the timeline of 1 big movie. Begins is a great beginning and leads into the highpoint of the action and climax in TDK and then TDKR finishes it off and ties the complete story together. Feel like it'd be an amazing 9 hour movie cause of how well it flowed
um, the military war room didn't have knowledge that there was a TIMER on that detonator. they were under the impression, just like the cops on the bridge, that if anything happens, BANE will detonate it. hell, they didn't even know that BANE was even DEAD at that point!
Loved the movie and how it didn't leave anything open ended as far as Bruce Wayne went. Him and Selena were chilling. I'm wondering if Nolan left it open to make a Nightwing or Robin movie considering dude found the Batcave at the end.
some of it was just too boring. for example, the scene where Bruce and Selina are dancing and talking. my homie even said it drags in certain scenes. the last like 30 minutes were great tho
Good movie. Real good. That last fight scene was great. Wish it was longer. I couldn't help but crack up when the police man were charging at the criminals gettin shot up shyt had me laughing hard
And there was 1 thing that bothered me. I think a scene was out of order.
The policemen go to "court" and after sentencing Bane was like bring her to me. Then a scene later when they capture Wayne and throw him with fox Shes's with Fox with the rest of the captives then later she's captured with Bane solo. Idk just seemed odd to me.
And also how Wayne get back in the city? I wish they woulda showed how
that scene was odd to me too, aside from that fact we learn LATER who's really running the show, so it didn't matter.
as for bruce getting back to gotham, that's a GENUINE plot hole! the only speculation i gather is he either got a small boat, canoe, or whutever and sailed in undetected, OR snuck in thru the bat cave WHICH nobody really knew the location of the cave and i DID recall alfred in batman begins stating that the cave used to be used as part of the UNDERGROUND RAILGROUD sneaking slaves out of gotham!
