Black people haven’t seen anything tangible from voting in presidential elections, hence wealth gaps and incarceration rates remaining the same since Black people given the right to vote. Absolute nonsense. Black America has made huge gains in the past 60 years. just look around you and probably your own family history. 30 years ago my family was in southern shacks and outhouses.

The progress is a byproduct of the US being a richer country than it was 60 years ago. If you look at the gaps in wealth and opportunities, they are the same. Black people still have 2% of the total US wealth. If you don't think it's a problem that the Black share of wealth has remained the same before and after Black people started voting, I don't know what to tell you.

Voting without putting financial resources behind the candidate is largely useless. Especially if your racial group consistently votes 90%+ for one party. Both parties are prioritizing the Hispanic vote over the Black vote because 20-30% of their vote could sway either way in elections.
