I think this list changes a good bit over the next decade, depending on where Amazon goes for HQ2.
Wherever they land will lead to some brehs eating good and others being gentrified out of their city.
To me, they go to one of the following cities (in no particular order): Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas or Boston
Those 3 have been known for a while though, we need some alternatives. The top 3 cities for blacks in America still the same it seems
1) DMV
2) ATL
3) HOU
don't know how Austin got in there. shyt is like a college town
That's why I'm nervous about moving out of boston, that shyt could literally make or break the greater area of the city.Heard Amazon is a shytty company but nikkax better watch for the pistol smoke because as soon as that shyt is announced that town is going to be crying that whitey song
DMV is good except the rent.
Anybody that leaves the DMV willingly lowkey retarded imo.I fuxing love the DMV. Exactly why I left NYC for the DMV. I can go to bars and events where its all my people, damn near all professionals and working folk and such. And oh yeah the bread is wonderful. Im solo and well over the DC median, so life is good I guess...for me
My boy who works for Amazon was talking about leaving the DMV for Seattle. I was like breh wait till you visit and see how hard it is to run into black folks like your'e so used to here in DC. HIs ass was up there miserable.
NC people do well...but its just so goddamn boringI've seen the opposite and I been to that state so many times I've lost count.
Isn't that mainly due to the government gigs there? I`d rather see more focus on entrepreneurship in that area before making that statement.
I been saying for years on here there's no better state to be black than MD
Most Blacks i know in Boston got bread but I know most are broke from the data aloneBoston is like a white Atlanta. I can't speak to EVERY black person in Boston. Theres a lot of people struggling there.
But I know many blacks who aren't.
I'm not going rather.
Provide stats bro..would love to see.. I’d agree in D.C, like the actually district may lack physical growth but plenty of surrounding counties are still expanding at great rates. There is also less physical room for growth.
Tons of infrastructure yet to be built down in the A and much bigger gains to make on land when that happens given the lower COL.
Throw in COL + job diversity + culture + entrepreneurship and it really isn't close.
Nah, my cousin lives there and he says it's more like a glorified college town with a skyline than a legitimate city for adult nightlife. Not to mention it mainly caters to cacs.
