That's my problem with you and all the male posters who like to compare BW and non-Black women and refuse to acknowledge that BW navigate the dating world at a disadvantage. If you are comparing the opportunities non-Black men have vis-a-vis Black men, that isn't a fair comparison for obvious reasons.

Comparing Black women's general passive approach to dating versus other women's more proactive approach isn't an unfair comparison.

That's been my main argument. When Black women like to throw out that "for every X Black women, there are Y good Black men," the assumption is that all X women are good women.

No. Only a fraction of X would be good mates for the Y men. Yet, every one of the X women "think" they are deserving of one of the Y men. That's the entire basis for the frustration.

The entire basis of your "Black women have limited" options hinges on the idea that there are more good Black women than there are good Black men.

My argument is that the differential isn't that large. The numbers are roughly the same.

Problem is all Black women think they are good catches, which leads to frustration when they aren't getting scooped up by those perceived limited options.

Responding to the topic title Ive seen too much normal black men get rejected for just being average looking and not good looking or popular for me to believe that narrative of black women having limited options to pick from.

Any lady who says that need to think back on the various men they rejected in the past.
