Ok...I'm shy though:hamster:

but the original statement the other person said was that she felt she shouldn't have to make an attempt to go after guys. You don't need to be on a chase where the guy is playing hard to get, but if you see someone you like don't be afraid to make the first move or be a little aggressive in your pursuit.

1. There are like 500 million black men on Earth. Every individual black women need only pick one. The odds are overwhelmingly in any black woman's favor.

2. If a black women dates 50 black men chance are she will fall in love with one. That's just human nature so all this "can't find a man" angst is self-inflicted and caused by pettiness. In some countries, women don't even get to pick their husbands.

3. Accordingly there is no "lack of options" for black women at all.

True....I think some women translate that to forcing a man to be with them. It could just be mean smiling at the guy, winking, asking him an open ended question that leads to conversation. I think you just have to remind the person that you want to get to know them to see where their mind is at.

Yeah this is the problem period both sexes don't really hold their owns feet to the fire. If this was a majority female messageboard you'd see the same shyt in reverse. That's one of the biggest problems with relationships and relationship advice. I try to be down the middle when giving out advice
Honestly Phil I am a member of black female forum and I must say I see more accountability there than I do here. Even women taking man'S side a lot....my mom is that way.

I think it is a recent phenomenon where women are socialized to stick up for women.

The older generation expect women to accomodate/sacrifice to keep the relationship going.

This is why mother in laws are harder on their daughter in laws. Women are the gatekeeper of patriarchy..

You must not be on the same site my sister is on because for the most part there its fukk dudes even though I will give you its more people that defend dudes esp the chicks that have sons, brothers, married. Its still like 70-30 though but I think its like that here too. I think some pay more attention to the bullshyt post instead of all of them

At the beginning of mean streets
I don't believe a woman should have to chase a man to get him to notice you, plus it throws the balance of the relationship off.

I have been trying my hand at online dating and I have notice how men don't even try anymore. They will send you a flirt or a message and then sit back and wait for you to keep the conversation going.

The information age has just made men lazy.

Don't think women should have to chase men, but go for what the fukk you want and also be realistic. Can't like a guy, twiddle your thumbs, and hope he likes you back and watch fiftyleven years go by and he gets chose by some other chick or vice versa. It's 2015, men just aren't the same, women aren't either but at the same time I don't think it's laziness on men's part it's just everything's so instant these days why work on it? And women's empowerment is all about changing gender norms/roles they just don't feel like having to aggressively pursue a woman without being sure of the results. Dating is a risky prospect at the end of the day, it's not for the faint of heart. But if you really see a future with that person, might as well go for it. :manny:

Normal black men are getting left behind, normal black women are getting left behind. Why don't normal black men get with normal black women or vice versa :patrice:

Whose leaving these normal blacks behind? :patrice:

Are they leaving each other behind? :patrice:
