OP there’s this book you should read called Through The Gates of Death by Dion Fortune. It’s a deceptively short read but it’s very informative and mind-blowing in talking about the Hereafter and the journey and procession of both the Soul and the Spirit.

I’ll share some videos with you in here later that talks about Death and the Afterlife in relation to Black folks. For now tho, while it may seem crazy and incomprehensible, it’s really nothing to be afraid of. It’s also not uncommon for the Ascended (deceased) to get in contact with the ones they “left behind” even though they’re always there within you. I’ve had my late grandma and late auntie and a late close friend of mine from college try to get in contact with me through various means such as dreams, certain smells, certain taste reactions, random shyt like car tags, commercials, etc.

Breh, can you help calm my anxiety by giving me some good insight on death. Should I be afraid, is there anything to fear, will I be alright? I've suffered with this fear for years and it's hindering my life.

I've had dead relatives and my homeboy talk to me in my dreams. My friend got murdered and we had a Convo about him being dead. He showed me some of his gunshot wounds. He didn't really have much to say about the murderer. After a while, he was like I gotta go and we dapped up and he left

You’ll be fine breh, most especially if you come at it with the mindset that while death is inevitable, it’s nothing to be fearful of. Due to Abrahamic religion, a lot of us have the common misconception that death is the end and that’s that. When in fact, it’s actually the beginning of a new existence for you, hence why our Ancestors viewed death as an Ascension and a greater journey especially if your particular mission on Earth is done. My deceased loved ones still pop in every now and then but I haven’t been running into them as much as I used to, which leads me to feel that they’re gucci on the other side and probably don’t like to linger around for too long.
