This girl might be retarded though. It has a pull up lock and a horn,
The locks are flush with the door when locked (can't pull them up). It usually unlocks when you pull the door handle or central locking button in the middle. Had the same shyt happen to me in a bmw.

I have a similar car; The car doesn't have a traditional key. Its an immobiliser that is specific to each car and without it, the car is basically dead: no horn, no aircon and u cant even move the wheels. the lights will only stay on for 20 minutes at a time. The windows are impossible to break or even open without a hard object like a a big hammer and it gets exponentially harder if you have anti-hijack windows.
The only way of opening the car from the inside is through the central locking button or opening the driver's side door but i suspect this was the malfunction they wrote about in the article.

If the locks and shyt didnt work, the pop trunk show as hell wasnt gone work, 328i's 1 of its biggest problem is the trunk release malfunctioning, its a reason why it was 11,000

but isnt that what an emergency manual release is for? :patrice: they usually are located in the trunk in case someone puts you in there.
im surprised bmw doesnt have one of those
