All these Hispanics in America for decades who love soccer, we should have a nice team by now. Should have soccer academies in Cali, Seattle, Texas, Florida, Maryland, NY and Chicago. Kids should be training after school and during the summer.
:russ:breh your so American. We keep thinkin Mexico is nice until they get slapped around by a euro country. Latin America hasnt won the world cup in nearly 20 years, they dont have the infrastructure to compete anymore just like us.

if it was easy to be a top 10 team we'd be one already. USMNT dont know what the fukk they doing simple as that

The USA system doesn't allow for kids to do nothing but train like most of the world.

Other countries have top notch academies.

Meanwhile America is relying on traveling leagues and D1 colleges.

It takes money to compete against top notch competition and coaching.

Yeah that’s not what I’m referring to. We easily could get top talent by giving visas out to soccer players around the world so they’d get citizenship here.

Kind of like how a lot of countries give mid tier ex nba players citizenship to play b-ball for their country.

It’s commendable we don’t take the easy way out and do this, bc we easily could and would have a way better team pretty quickly

Soccer is an elite game here in the states. Minorities are outpriced by the game.

And that's weird to me since it's widespread in 3rd world countries. All you need is a damn ball to kick and something to create 2 goals. I think it's really because Black people aren't into it yet. Once we are, it won't be expensive and we'll see it grow more in the country. For now, basketball and football still make the most money for the players and owners.

suburban whites need the pay for play system to be the way it is. and soccer isn't like basketball and football where you can come to to the sport late.

Actually every city you mentioned pretty much has academies. The only problem is we are only in the infant stages of these academies. We are slowly starting to see results from these academies. Most of these players are only now turning 18-20 year old. In 5-10 years we'll see what the academies have produced.

Our Youth National teams are actually performing against other countries and doing quite well in the world stage. With that said though we need a national team coach who can get the best out of these players and so far it's not happening.

U-17

U-20 team

We are starting to get a good mix of kids from all backgrounds who are playing soccer. One of the problems though is some of the hispanic kids are being pursued by the Mexican national team to switch and come play for them.
