Just trying to be objective here.

Is Kaep's logic that If you're saying something is worth more than doing something, as long as your words create thoughts but no action, your're creating awareness?

I understand this was an election of choosing the less of two evils. But sometimes choosing the lesser one, keeps the major one from causing that much more damage. I'm not saying voting spurs change, but it does represent a voice.

This election was a circus. I get some people wanted no part in it.

Once again. All Kaep did was remain seated during the anthem. He said nothing until a mic was shoved in his face.

Him taking a stand and doing work in the community goes a whole lot further than voting. That said, I'd like to know his reason for not voting.

Too bad he didn't vote though. Things could have been so much different. :martin:

Why do this? We are saying he could have used his platform and align himself to someone that could have brought local change. That's a problem??

Yeah I don't see why SAS acts like silently protesting the anthem tethers Kap to any and all social responsibilities.

SAS just wants to embarrass Colin and make his whole platform look like a farce. This is why white people like Stephen.

Exactly...hiding behind names we are ALL educated on to mask your Iack of education on the current matter.

I'm tired of hoteps hiding behind our history. As if you're teaching someone something based on your ability to recite our past greats. Talk to someone who doesn't know anything about them, but on this thread, we are talking on grassroots movements and the use of local politics. Let me know when you want to get in on that subject when you're ready to stop using Huey and them as a "I'm so deep" mask.

Yeah....I said fukk Huey and them :childplease:

"y-y-you're saying fukk Huey and them" :childplease:

Please...hoteps stay abusing our past greats to steer discussion towards their lane but not the current one

Nice change of words big homie :mjlol:

Anyways what am I "hiding behind"? You asked a question:

Why are we like this here?

And I explained the historical aspects that led to blacks being at each others throat, males not leading like they once did, women being forced to take the lead, blacks not getting along/collaborating etc... You mad that I answered your question by pointing out the historical aspects that led up to the black community's state of disarray? You're here with a false sense of intellectual superiority which has you railing against hoteps while you do the same things they do. Why are we here today where blacks wont collaborate? Because of the systematic oppression that ensured that it turned out that way. Why are you mad or railing against this answer? Because it doesnt place the brunt of the blame on the oppressed (the black male/female)?

As far as the topic, I did discuss that. I said history shows us that voting does NOTHING for black people. Emphasis on BLACK people because voting, especially in this country, does nothing for the minorities and does MORE for the MAJORITY. Why would a "vote" change the system that has for the last 400 years showed EXPLICITLY that it doesnt give a fukk about blacks in general? Again, THIS is the discussion. What do you have to say against or for that Oh thats right. You're hiding behind your false "Im too smart for you" superiority and "hotep" dismissiveness (ironically this is exactly what hoteps do) to actually engage in the discussion. I can dig that though. Just say you're not equipped right?

You don't even know Huey enough to know that he started a voter registration drive yet want to get all Hotep about him going against your very premise. :childplease:

Hoteps always revert to history to hide their inability to talk about what's happening today.

Edit....Bobby Seale started the drive. Huey destroyed it and In effect destroyed the panther party by the infighting.
