I think u may be missing the forest for the trees here breh. I think we'd agree BOTH LeBron and SA agree he played poorly. It becomes lame when LeBron throws in the role players. While the championship teams may have had a better fit in the subsequent championship runs, that particular team was still up in the series. The fact is if LeBron HIMSELF played better in those 4th quarters, the Heat still win the chip DESPITE the ill fitted roster.

Pippens job wasn’t to have to put up great numbers pippens job was to guard the other teams best players and allow mj to basically roam the court causing chaos on D. 9 times out of 10 back in the 90s if you can take the teams best player out of the game you win. Why did he have 8 points? Because the mavs took away a slashers slashing and made him settle for jumpers or get the ball out of his hands. If he had the 2012 roster they couldn’t do that. If his 2011 team could space the floor he wouldn’t have had 8 points. When you don’t have to guard every man on the court it’s kinda hard get spacing. But we know it’s on him he said it.
