Personality traits passes on. Anakin was a whiny brat. Luke was a whiny brat. Leia in some degree was spoiled. So how is it NOT shocking that Ben Solo would have those kind of traits to which have him easily influenced to the dark side, especially when it is arguable that Luke was somewhat possessed by the dark side himself?
