How do you feel about the 2nd movie?

I've don't think I've ever watched a whole episode of any of the "Star Trek" shows & I've never seen any of the pre-J.J. Abrams movies, but I thought "Star Trek into Darkness" was a GREAT movie & definitely better than the 2009 movie. I'd probably give it 4.5 out 5 stars.

I love the first one. Like the second one too. I definitely have issues with it but not as much as a lot of fans. But I know fans who do fukk with it. And you're pouring jelly on yourself for not watching any trek tv especially since all of them are on Netflix. Next gen and deep space nine :whew: the original series is cool too

The first one was a true breath of fresh air. I loved that reboot.

Second one wasn't as fresh Becuase they shoehorned Khan into it. Take Khan out, have him be "John Harrison" (maybe a lackey of the real Khan) and nobody complains....

I agree. If they hadn't done the Khan thing and if they hadn't done it so much worse than Star Trek 2 then it may have went over better. But it automatically compared itself to wrath of khan and that's a battle it wasn't going to win

I 100% agree!!! But Trekkies HATE it with a passion, to the point they wanted new Writers/Directors/Producers working on the next movie.

well even though i enjoyed them, i can understand their plight. they are solid action/adventure flicks but they really don't capture the "essence" of star trek. sort of like how the prequels didn't capture the "essence" of star wars... only instead those were a flaming pile of shyt.

the most offensive thing about the star trek movies was the inclusion of leonard nemoy. if it's a reboot then just fukking reboot. no need to connect the new continuity with the old. reeks of desperation and drags the movie down to a ridiculous level.

I feel like they are gonna, low key, recycle the old story by playing out a, what if, scenario....What if Luke chose the dark side....that's what we're gonna get in Kylo Ren

I see another death star in the poster and everything...

Supreme Leader Snoke is to Kylo as Yoda was to Luke...
maaaan.... i got the same feeling from the trailer... this sh*t gonna be like hangover 2

I don't know why people think its out the realm of possibility that BvsS can and will outdo this new Star Wars movie in terms of box office gross. BvS def. imo appeals to more to a diverse group of people than Star Wars do. I still nikkaz that don't watch this shyt because its the nerdy white movies. Plus, you add in the stench of the prequels, the release date in December, and Stars Wars (the last decade) not being that engraved in pop culture like Batman is. The possibility is really real imo.
i agree BvS will bury SW's.... this sh*t only appeals to cacs, dweebs and nerds

The Rule of Two doctrine, known as Chwayatyun in Sith and also called theBanite system, was the guiding principle of the Order of the Sith Lords after the internecine New Sith Wars. It replaced the practices of Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness, which claimed equality among Sith Lords and forbade the use of the title "Darth".

The Rule of Two was instituted by Darth Bane, once a student at Kaan's Sith academy, in response to what he viewed as inevitable, self-destructive infighting within the Sith Order. The Rule of Two states that there would be only two Sith at one time, a Master and an Apprentice, guaranteeing that when the Apprentice becomes powerful enough in the ways of the dark side to take the title of Master, only then would they be worthy of the title. This transfer of power would only take place when the Apprentice takes their Master's life and finds a worthy student to repeat the cycle. Both Master and Apprentice were considered to be Sith Lords.

There is always a reason why the tule of two exists too many sith lords is a bad thing...

See palpatine took the rule and killed his apprentices because he wanted to stay in power for as long as possible, he knew one would rise up to kill him, because that's the way it always goes...
How did that work out for them though :youngsabo:

:mjlol: Anyone who thinks this doesn't get "Star Wars".

So I don't "get" Star Wars because I think BvsS has chance to defeat TFA when it comes to box office opening weekend numbers.? :comeon:

That's always an issue with Starwars fandom, cats live in a damn bubble and catn fathom to think anything can "beat" it.
