Honestly, apart from the conferences where new games are announced what else is E3 for? It made sense in the past when there was no internet and companies had one window of opportunity to advertise their new shyt but now you can spread your message anytime anywhere.
Most of us only watch the conferences and don’t even bother with the rest of the show so I can understand where Sony is coming from.

meh, I think dudes are stuck in the past. why is it really that important?
we get shown games that are years away. a bunch of stale talking points, like "this is our most ambitious title yet...". then everyone says "E3 sucked this year"
there's plenty of other ways to find out about new games. also with E3 there's so much shyt shown over a few days, that it's hard to take it all in, and good shyt can get buried and forgotten

Honestly not surprised. They probably don't have anything else to announce game wise for PS4. Plus with the PS5 coming soon they're probably gonna announce it at a big PSX event in the Summer.
I can see them doing Nintendo Direct style events from now on too for when they're actually ready to show/announce things. Rather than being forced to show shyt that's far long at E3.
I guess E3 gotta depend on Publishers/Developers now.

Cause I'm pretty sure some Xbox fans made that shyt. And u came in here talking about what Microsoft should do. And no other platform has much room to talk. Except maybe PC but they haven't even been releasing anything crazy lately. Sony really the only ones dropping consistent exclusive content. I wouldve said Nintendo but they suffered a SERIOUS drought this year.
worse is relative but the whole stage show extravagaza style desperately needs a reboot it's old. Nintendo got a clue a while ago

on topic tho...it’s pretty provocative (ie marketing) just announcing...we’re not going to e3. 90% of their shyt gets leaked early every year anyway. all they have to do is make official announcements all that week and bang out demos...money much better spent. outside of attendees people would be happy trust me
