In Cano's situation, the only time it affected him negatively was in '08 where he simply wasn't trying and got benched for it. Cano now, he sucks at running the bases, but everything else is simply just how he's always played. Yankee fans only blow it up when he's struggling, and never when he's tearing the cover off the ball. That's been a theme. We still believe if you're struggling or if you didn't come through, you must react exactly like Paul O'Neill to reassure us that you care.
I always get on Cano always and as far as his postseason stats to the last 2 years didn't he do his damage in like 1 or 2 games he hit for average but he wasn't some RBI machine
