Something inherently wrong with the Yankees lineup

I can't get angry at A-Rod, he's not on the Boli and he's 38. That bat speed isn't gone and it's not going to come back next year either. Might be a week or 2 where he looks good but he's a platoon player now.

He shouldn't even be in the Yankees plans for next year. Just give him a lump sum of 115 Million and just get rid of him.

The only reason we won is because of Ichiro, we had 2 guys at the top hitting .330 and than Cano hit .700 for 2 weeks. Outside of those 2 weeks Cano was a huge disappointment in the 2nd half. His average dipped all the way down to .290 before the hot streak.

The only way to fix this is to buy themselves out of trouble, if they plan on having a budget. They can go fukk themselves, $1,000 tickets go spend that money.

Drop A-Rod, Eat the Money
Drop Swisher, Overpay for Beltran
Drop Martin, Eat Mauer's Contract or sign
Trade Tex, Salary Dump ... The O's or the Nats will take him in a heartbeat

It's time for them to do what they used to be great at: buying low on players and maximizing what they can do while maintaining flexibility. Everyone else you simply have to deal with.

I'm not worried about the pitching, but Andy Pettite is going to play part time every year?

This Lineup badly needs 1 or 2 more players who can keep the line moving and you gotta cut ties with A-Rod and Tex too. Whats gonna happen, Yankees make the playoffs and these clowns hit .085 again. Or Maybe the Rays and O's will finish 1 and 2 and we'll be stuck.

Their pieces don't fit right now. They do have trade assets to help speed up the rebuilding process and i think they are crazy if they resign Swisher and Granderson.

Swisher was gonna be gone regardless. He was way out of NY's price range.

Granderson won't get an extension either. What they can do is move Gardner to CF temporarily afterward or get a stop gap til Mason Williams is ready.

Next season's spring training should involve way more open competition for spots because I don't see this team making any free agent splashes.

Except you don't and you're not. Cano's played worse than both of them. Do you want him shipped off too? They're going to be here regardless of what happens. This is what I'm talking about. You're not gonna see a brand spanking new lineup next year. The changes are gonna be minor and not replaced by big time players.

The Red Sox in order to get rid of dead weight, had to trade Adrian Gonzalez to do it. That would be like us trading Cano to get rid of A-Rod and Tex (and then willingly decide to rebuild-- Boston made it clear they were gonna start over from the ground up. Clearly you don't want that)

Cano had what 2 good games in the 2 previous playoffs ? He flies under the radar but it seems like once teams key in on him he's finished hes not a real elite top 5 player like people say he is. He doesn't bring fear like miggy or prince , and im starting to think its his lackadaisical attitude .

I see miggy, prince even delmon young busting it out the box him he jogs like on that swinging bunt play .

His lack of giving any fukks is not a good look for a franchise player and the constant coddling of him. Oh he makes everything look so easy as a excuse for his mistakes is frustrating I'd trade cano for a High outfield prospect soon if he don't get it together

I'm not saying tre does but cano should be the one to carry us . He needs to get better offensively cause the redsox/twins/bluejays aren't here to pad stats . Cano is held to a higher standard then swisher , grandy Martin tex etc
