I'm not PLANNING on quitting, but its between my HEALTH and BASKETBALL, health takes precedence. You should never choose ANYTHING over it.

yea hes done if Houston cuts ties with him. his contract isnt guaranteed if hes not going to report

i know hes prolly struggling with this, but he has a son just do what you gotta do for 3 years breh. lord knows the real world would eat him alive, so id suggest he make his money while he can

he's got a mental illness. dude has no grip on the real world and what would happen if he wasn't good at basketball. he's spent his whole life being coddled because he was a ball player. he's already being accommodated and he still thinks he's being mistreated.

if he was serious about coming to terms with his illness, he would've tried to get over his fear of flying with a mental health specialist at his side. he would've literally made millions and not have to do a thing for the next 2-3 years. i feel bad for him but at the same time, i'd like to :pacspit: in his face.

Would it be possible to hire a psychiatrist to travel with him for away games? A professional to talk with him on the plane or whatever whenever hes feeling anxious.

Why walk away from millions of dollars without exhausting every solution available to deal with his illness?

This guy seems to be acting like an idiot with his tweets.

The Rockets have hired a therapist to help this dude out with his mental problems and hes the one skipping out of therapy sessions. How's that standing up for yourself? How's that doing whats right for himself? This guy is choosing to not even try to get help. Its stupid.

:manny: If dude wants to quit than hopefully he got his degree in something where he can get a regular job.

It really doesn't sound like he tried to make it work though. And I wanted my Mavericks to draft him too :heh:

So he's gonna retire before playing a game and be a motivational speaker or something? Can't see that happening because he doesn't fly. If he walks away from the game without at least attempting to get over his fear of flying addressing his mental issues head on then i have no remorse for him whatsoever. He has it all out their for him and is ready to throw it away. Does this man no how many people suffer from mental disorders and wish they could afford the kind of help he can get?

I probably won't feel sorry for him until his 30/30 drops in like 5 years. I just don't understand how he can declare for the NBA draft, interview/talk with a team, get drafted, team tries to help him and he just doesn't report to therapy or practice.

dude is a straight idiot, point blank. i have no sympathy for a dude who has options for being helped mentally, chose to ignore those options, then whine about being mistreated. fukk that. get some balls, and take on your problem head on and quit being a p*ssy.

So let me get this straight
-The rockets were the only team to take a chance and draft him
-The rockets have hired a psychologist for him
-The rockets have allowed him to take a bus for some road games

And this dude still is unhappy? What more do you want? I bet he's too scared to face this anxiety disorder and using this whole fiasco as a way to bailout without people calling him a retard.

Just have him sign something where u can do him like the A Team and knock that n1gga out before puttin him on a plane. Or just do it without his knowledge and see how things go
