Should a person making food at McDonalds be able to afford rent and groceries with their paycheck?

The same ass fat a$$holes talking about we need to help them get more marketable skills are the same people crying about how they can’t eat in the dining room at McDonald’s or having to wait 30 minutes for food.

Anybody who eats fast food need to be saying yea they should be getting paid a livable wage

When I was a kid it was retirees and part time college students working during the day, now its adult immigrants and other ordinary people who would probably be working in manufacturing jobs if we still had them in this country

America outsourced its economic backbone of manufacturing

Now, these fast food places gotta be the next ones UNIONIZED.

same "unskilled" jobs were considered essential in 2020. :sas2:

see how quickly society determined who was needed to keep things functioning.

Dumbest statement ever.

Where do these "unskilled" workers live at, if they not in rural towns? Cities and suburbs filled with low-wage establishments.

Hell yes they should. I’m a district manager for a restaurant and my highest grossing store has crew members that make $15 an hour, shift leads make $16, assistant makes $18. The way some of these companies get over is crazy and I live somewhere that you could actually live off of $13 an hour if you don’t have children because the cost of living so low.

As others have said, The Walmarts and McDonald's ect are basically passing the cost of labor on to you as a taxpayer, because when these workers can't afford food housing and Healthcare, they have to go get it from public assistance.
double-whammy cause these corporations pay less taxes than they should be paying.
